QUOTE(babysmile @ Feb 20 2012, 12:12 AM) For those who still unsure how to enable the alarm buzzer, check out this video below. Excellent video. Good job enjoy » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « And also remember to try for a few combination like:- 1) driver door open with bonnet open 2) 2 front door open with bonnet open 3) 2 front and 2 back door open with bonnet open Mine is number 3 in order for the beep sound to work. 1 & 2 fail for me |

QUOTE(SteadyPana @ Feb 20 2012, 07:23 PM) QUOTE(andrekua2 @ Feb 20 2012, 08:20 PM) The last time I read it is about Prius C engine being Atkinson Cycle which produce lower output. I want to know more about the difference in detail regarding the actual differences as well. Insight output higher as the setup is parallel. Direct. Prius family setup kinda serial/overlapping between ICE & Electric.Sell me one bro... 9.7k for hybrid... hehehe Both also good. Atkinson cycle in Prius, imagine normal 4 stroke engine, they extend intake time until piston moves up (release some air+fuel mixture back to intake manifold), then only close the intake valve. Nominal cc for compression stroke is lower, plus the cylinder being detonated every-time it moves up. So they achieve greater FC by reducing vacuum in intake manifold and reduce the amount of air+fuel mixture for combustion. Sure u confuse. see this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hEfOxKmCstg |

QUOTE(iphone @ Feb 20 2012, 06:36 PM) eh toyota website shows Prius C from RM 103,990.00 - http://www.toyota.com.my/priusc/specifications.dot If I had not mistaken, Prius is using Atkinson cycle engine while Insight VTEC engine is a normal otto cycle engine.Power Prius C 1.5L : 54kW + 45kW (engine + motor) Insight 1.3L : 65kW + 10kW (engine + motor) Torque Prius C : 111Nm + 169Nm (engine + motor) Insight : 121Nm + 78Nm (engine + motor) *Noticeably Prius C have a bigger motor. Question: why Insight 1.3L produces more power and torque than Prius 1.5L ? Atkinson cycle engine focus on efficiency in the expense of power density. Different strategy. More info? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atkinson_cycle Added on February 21, 2012, 12:53 am QUOTE(alxdc @ Feb 20 2012, 11:24 PM) its 97k....cheaper than insight No offense to Toyota fans, but this is a bit too far apart in terms of design. Which one leading, I don't think have to elaborate further.Added on February 20, 2012, 11:28 pm ![]() ![]() come on.....prius c................u got to be kidding me.... QUOTE(ongdennis @ Feb 19 2012, 12:04 AM) Anyone has this issue?there is some sound kik kok kik kok behind the dashboard even the air con is off or engine auto stop? It like some mechanical thing moving behind the dashboard if this happen on to you and u want to double confirm. stop ur car and turn off ur radio and also the air con, go to passenger side and listen to behind the dashboard. or what u can do is open the glovebox and check this out. ![]() Our car air con has 2 motor working on it. the bottom one that i circle in red and also the top one (black color without circle). after some checking i found out the problem was the bottom one (circle in red). through my observation n trial and error, i notice this motor is adjust according to the temperature we set. what happen is and dont know why, it cant settle itself. it keep on trying to adjust something n make the kik kok kik kok sound even the air con has been turn off. what i had done is unplug the wiring and connect it back, so far no problem already. if it happen again then i will ignore it and report this to honda during my 15k service. the top motor just simply adjust the direction of the air like blow to windscreen, leg or the driver...etc |

QUOTE(alxdc @ Feb 20 2012, 11:21 PM) my goodness Prius C is so freaking ugly. Look at the cheap material dashboard and design. Looks so cheap.....and is super small.... and for 1.5 horse power is so low. Even insight 1.3 horse power is better..... yiak.!!!! Had continental, local and jap cars before but never once thought of buying a Toyota. |

Fuiiyoh... I think Insight better after look at the Dash... yuck...
think myvi dash nicer hahah but with 7 airbag and cheaper by 2K (comparison without discount) think still people will buy cause it is TOYOTA but one think I dont like about HSD is after 5 or 3 years warranty period the car is so complicated that outside foreman do not dare to touch the car... also Toyota battery is 3 years warranty vs Honda 5 years warranty... They claim the battery can last 10 years... but no balls to give warranty... ek ek ek... |

love my white ride very much. The problem is she get stained and become grayish white after 2-3 weeks. I wash her regularly but still dang the stain stuck into her skin. I have to polish so often to remove those stain.
Wondering is it all the white body that tough to maintain? |

Sorry to hear that you have to replace your rear absorber. Did you change the wheels or tyres? Do you have to pay for them? Insight got 3 years warranty right? Is absorber included in the Warranty? |
