yep all the white and black super tough to maintain... ont thing to ease off to apply coating like Sierra Glow or Permanon or the best one opti coat 2.0 (super expensive also) hahaha then dust will virtually wont stick...

Ain't these coatings only gives shine and water beading? They won't 'clean' the paintwork like a polish does.
I was told is best to apply these coatings without any wax on the paintwork. Then how do we clay and polish the car cleanly prior to apply these coatings?

polish your car 1st then use dish washing soap to wash away the polish oil... apply the coat once the coat dry the dust / dirt do not stick a clean water wash will restore it to shine...

let the pro at sierra glow do the work laa

Ya its the polish step that removes the grayish stain. So after the coating the color wont get stain anymore? I am not referring to dirt, dust or water beading.

As for those coating, my personal opinion, no offense. I am not willing to pay coz I feel they are not worth it. End of the day we still have to send the car back to have it 'touch up/polish/re-coat' periodically. Chinese say LPPL.

I think there is only 1 Sierra Glow in Malaysia, located in Subang Jaya.
Try to contact Mr. Choong before you go nod.gif

Hi Everyone,

I've made a booking for a black 2011 insight with kah motor, currently preparing to make the down payment sometime this week .

looking forward to getting my 1st car biggrin.gif

Does the car come with door visor, floor mat and mud guard or do i have to pay extra to get them?

Is there anything I need to be aware of before finalizing the deal.

@Static Pulse

1) Download the Honda Insight New Car check list credit by lovencare. Check everything from the list before you sign anything from SA.
2) Get free gift lots lots from your SA -> Umbrella, Towel, Key chain.
3) door visor, floor mat and mud guard seem like you getting a New Myvi which Perodua SA will given but not from Honda SA. Try your luck to discuss with your SA then. Do share with us on the outcome.
4) We have few problem involved after collection the car such as :-
i) Air-cord smell - when you just press for air cord for the first time, you shall smell quite awkward ( some lemon smell ) and though new car smell. Ask SA change the air-cord filter immediately.
ii) Carpet Wet issue -> Turn the car mat below and see got feeling any wet condition from there. You shall fell the wet condition as some member found fungus at the car mat bottom . check on the rear seat section.
iii ) Engine grinning noise -> this is only applicable when the engine is in cold start condition. You can hear a grinning noise when the car just started to warm up. I am not sure which parts need to change but this suppose not to be happen. ( cause I have encounter the same thing at the moment ). Or when you drive / reserve slowly when brake, you can hear the grinning noise ( if auto stop is not activate )

Hope these can helps for the new owners.
