Hi gadget2us, I had tried many time but still fail.
Question :
1) which key u used to switch ON (spare key or remote control key)?
2) after successful key in the last digit pin code, what indicator light on the LED?

Try open the passenger side door. I tried twice and it won't go into long beep. I then tried open the front passenger door, voila done!

Just changed CC5 tires, much quieter, comfortable and less bumpy.  Paid RM640 for all 4 new tires after traded in the stock Bridgestone Turanza ER370.  Balancing and alignment included.
*
Nice to hear this. My previous ride always on Michelin and now change to new Insight, came with Bridgestone, one word 'sxxks' big time. Super bumpy, worst when the road is rough, can really feel the whole car vibrates. All the keys and stuffs inside the arm rest compartment became noisy. Dang it.

Bro how old are your Bridge tires? Not sure mine still worth anything or not. Can't stand it anymore, feels like changing too.

eh toyota website shows Prius C from RM 103,990.00 - http://www.toyota.com.my/priusc/specifications.dot

Power
Prius C 1.5L : 54kW + 45kW (engine + motor)
Insight 1.3L : 65kW + 10kW (engine + motor)

Torque
Prius C : 111Nm + 169Nm (engine + motor)
Insight : 121Nm + 78Nm (engine + motor)
*Noticeably Prius C have a bigger motor.

Question: why Insight 1.3L produces more power and torque than Prius 1.5L ? hmm.gif

love my white ride very much. The problem is she get stained and become grayish white after 2-3 weeks. I wash her regularly but still dang the stain stuck into her skin. I have to polish so often to remove those stain.

Wondering is it all the white body that tough to maintain?

yep all the white and black super tough to maintain... ont thing to ease off to apply coating like Sierra Glow or Permanon or the best one opti coat 2.0 (super expensive also) hahaha then dust will virtually wont stick...
*
Ain't these coatings only gives shine and water beading? They won't 'clean' the paintwork like a polish does.
I was told is best to apply these coatings without any wax on the paintwork. Then how do we clay and polish the car cleanly prior to apply these coatings?

polish your car 1st then use dish washing soap to wash away the polish oil... apply the coat once the coat dry the dust / dirt do not stick a clean water wash will restore it to shine...

let the pro at sierra glow do the work laa
*
Ya its the polish step that removes the grayish stain. So after the coating the color wont get stain anymore? I am not referring to dirt, dust or water beading.

As for those coating, my personal opinion, no offense. I am not willing to pay coz I feel they are not worth it. End of the day we still have to send the car back to have it 'touch up/polish/re-coat' periodically. Chinese say LPPL.

Just changed my air filter to K&N filter
was kinda surprised to see the original filter was so dirty just after 23k mileage
noticed a slight increase in terms of performance in acceleration & fc...
not sure if it was due the original one was too dirty...
*
I guess my next service will require an air filter change.
Did you request SC to replace with K&N?

Dang..just renewed insurance for car & windscreen, added flood too, cost me RM2K+! Arghh.

Guys..is it me or what? ..I feel the Bridgestone tires getting harder as the car closing in to 20,000 KM
Interior vibrations getting worst rolling on those bad road.

Experiencing very frequent (every 5-10 minutes of normal drive), almost total drainage of battery (1-2 bar left), to charging up the battery (full bars), within 2-3 minutes of normal drive (not downhill). The battery bars are very unstable, can be full bars, then within 10 seconds drop to 2 bar, also from 2 bars, can be charged straight to full within a few minutes, it wouldn't gradually increase/decrease bar after bar, like it used to be.

When battery is below half, the car totally lack of power. Sluggish drive.

*
Yep notice my car having same issue too. I realized it at the red light, when it turn green I step the usual amount of throttle but the car won't move, extremely sluggish. When I look down ..battery is almost fully depleted.

Anyone know what is going on ?

I think he is not referring to creep assist. More like clutch slipping/not engaging yet. There is a delay from engine to full clutch engaging. Since the hill is steep and the drivetrain could not engage in time thus the car goes backward.

even on D, can't fire up the engine without releasing the brake.
He need to engage handbrake, release brake pedal to fire up the engine before start moving.

Actually you will soon learn how to utilise the creep assist, i.e. when you apply brake and the car come to a stop on a slope, release the brake immediately (try NOT let the auto stop cuts in for too long by depressing the brake pedal).

I am satisfied with the Creep Assist. Been driving the car for a year..so fast. Next week sending in for 20,000km service.

Overall I'd rate it 8.5/10. I don't quite like the stock Bridgestone tires, too bumpy/hard. On uneven road can really send vibrations into the car. Sound proof a bit poor though.

Everything else is just ...lovely. Nice handling and responsive chassis. Sporty 16" rim. HID friendly lights. Futuristic dashboard, it just feels good after getting into the car, I'll spend some time enjoy the dashboard, aircon and speedo, never got bored with the view. Good FC, 90 City 10 Highway driving, average 500km per tank. I am satisfied.

1.I sent in for 20,000KM service at HZN Glenmarie, they seem clueless when I told them about this issue. All they said was ..there is no bulletin from Honda to update the software. We tested and everything is okay.

2. Also 30,000KM only need to replace engine air filter.

3. Kinda shocking but lucky for me they ran out of stock for that RM100 over bucks air con filter!
