Came across this statement that the tire pressures for Honda Insight shd be set to 38 psi front, 35 psi rear and not 32 psi all around. Can anyone confirm? [ http://www.insightcentral.net/KB/faq-efficiency.html. ]
*
May be that is for the 1st gen Insight.

Our Insight, front 33, rear 32. And imho already quite firm. More than that, the ride will be harder besides risk of burst.

What temp u set? And when use auto climate, the blower always blows in high speed like 3 to 4 speed.
*
During weekday (go office 9am, come home, 6pm) usually set 24 or 25 if raining.

During weekend usually set 20 during noon time and yes it will blow hard when set at this temp.

recently saw some accessories shop start selling fl insight Mugen kit, sorry to say that it is bad lousy cloned. they are just modifying PRE-FACELIFT Mugen kit n resell it again. the true facelift version is attached below, u can compare the front n rear bumper are totally in different shape.

in fact, i have also compared the authentic rear wing for both facelift n pre-facelift insight, they are in different design n degree also.

be smart, frens!!

Got my white Insight over the weekend. Chalking up ~20km/l and loving it! The dashboard is way cool. No problems with aircon while auto-stop.. still cool as fan still blowing but at lower fan speed. If hot weather, noticed that engine will alive after ~10s. No problem on slopes and very quick on acceleration biggrin.gif

The suspension is a bit stiff ... can feel the less-than-ideal road quality. And the driver seat not too comfy. Speedometer somewhat obscured by steering wheel so had to adjust seat higher. Head-rest on front passenger seat is a bit high... can obscure view if you want to see if got traffic on the left.

All-in-all, awesome car! biggrin.gif

Although the tank is 40 liters, I think no one ever use up to 40L as the fuel indicator will show 0 at about 33l... and most eco driver out there will have no problem of getting around 600km, with 33L of fuel.
