i think with the D800, due to the pixel density, we're gonna see more newcomers who straight away buy D800 as their first body complain that the body has focus issues...when its most likely the pixel density amplifying any small errors.
basically same complains from some ppl when D7000 came out since both have the same pixel density.
those not familiar also will probably run into similar issues.

but one thing nice bout the D800, AUTO-ISO button ftw tongue.gif

d5100 -> D800 is the plan. The most efficient upgrade. Prefer D800.

when u see a good pic its a good pic period, doesnt matter what its shot with.
handphone, dx, fx, webcam tongue.gif

the weight doesnt bother me anyway.
body + lens, 3kg...no problem.

Awesome stuff! Do have a great time!

Heh =) I had awesome time but wasn't that great compare to last year. The arrangement was worse than last year.

Disappointment on the organizer aka Jojo Events Sdn Bhd which was also the same as last year for TTA

wahhhhh  so niceee  sad.gif  part time job?

Not really part-time, I could consider myself as a full-time... volunteer. I am currently writing for this non-profit but quite highly recognizable site called Kaggregate Media (kaggregate.com) which covers lot of events like Korean-pop related events (previous-pro) in our respective regions, lately expanded our familiar side of K-pop to Asian music related events to expose ourselves more. =)

Cool! Im somewhat related to events.photographer myself. This weekend will be working at F1 party. Organize by the big P tongue.gif

Cool, we are on the same line! Vroom vroom time! Really hope I could invest more time on various events but I couldn't do that so much. Lulz!

On the other hand, I have a photo to share here!

Taken by me with Sony a700 that paired with Sigma 400MM f/5.6 Manual lens (which the body and lens doesn't belong to me).

I don't think we should bash another brand of camera especially one that is Leica.
Ppl pay a huge premium for the great experience they get with a Leica and no doubt it does capture amazing images.
Yes, many may not find the features of the M9 or the M8 justifying the price but for those that do would definitely enjoy it.
It's just like paying a few million on a Ferrari that doesn't even have a music player on it, is it a bad car or one that was stupidly overpriced? It depends, but it sure is a car that brings great experience, so is the Leica.

M9 users could have just laugh at a Nikon FX user for having to tuck along a brick to snap the same beautiful image his/her camera could. icon_rolleyes.gif
