I have this growing worries in me about the tight zoom ring of my 17-55 lens. Well, I have no issue with focusing accuracy or whatsoever, but even NPS executive that held my camera said the zoom ring is tight and asking if I dropped it before
How you guys send in for warranty with unfilled warranty card? What will they do with it? Any tips as I'm planning to send mine in next month since less photography call-up during "Ching Ming". |

It's from that date they see whether ur gear is still under warranty. How you guys send in for warranty with unfilled warranty card? What will they do with it? QUOTE(vearn27 @ Mar 21 2012, 01:45 PM) the advantage of unfilled warranty is when u're close to some authorised dealer shop, ask them print a new one for u! HAHAHAHAHAcoz even if it's filled, u still need to present the warranty card if u wanna claim it. Added on March 21, 2012, 1:48 pmi mean present the receipt . . .XD This post has been edited by hkenh: Mar 21 2012, 01:48 PM |

QUOTE(hkenh @ Mar 21 2012, 11:43 AM) dealers are only told their cost this morning, together with the RSP. So everything before is only a rough estimate from the dealers. 9500 confirmed have sellers... look harder ;-) I believe many would have known who is selling at that pricing now.and with stocks running low, it would take a really GENEROUS seller to sell it at 9.5k! HAHAHAHA Hopefully there's one or two |

Why not? When you don't have a shop/unit/commitment to maintain, of course can simply sell cheaper ma Differs for those sellers that committed alot of stocks/units/inventory for their shops. |

Unless there is any form of special case.may i ask since they are not authorised dealer would it be a problem claiming any warranty??? have never bought from non-authorised dealer before. I am in no position to really comment la, but if you want peace of mind, go and by all means get from those shop dealers lo. You surely will pay more, but at least how also, the shop dealer can't run anywhere lol.... Some cheap itemz, i buy online, some, I prefer go physical store and purchase. But that's just me. |

17-55 i think not easy to claim warranty unless u got a 2010-11 set.
nikon sure suspect if u send in with fake receipt from 2011-12, but the lens serial dates to like 2007 etc. maybe can be pulled off with lenses like 50mm 1.8d or so, but not 17-55 as u hardly find old stock lying around in shops. |

QUOTE(Everdying @ Mar 21 2012, 06:24 PM) but it does come with malaysia warranty card, only problem is Nikon see the receipt that wasn't from one of the authorised dealer during the claimif really can't claim, i would rather pay 500 more just to play safe and get 12 months warranty in case anything goes wrong like faulty sensor etc |
