that's pretty much the prices we all expected from few weeks ago.
tho fat chance of anyone here getting a D800 unless they pre-ordered very early.

nikon japan already released statement that said they cannot meet all the pre-orders.
that probably means, current batch wont be for general sale unless u pre-order early.
and next batch, will go out for the rest of the pre-orders nikon couldnt meet initially.

so keep waiting i guess tongue.gif

Dear Sir,

We do not sell anything from here. Recommended selling price for D4 is RM 22,388 in the market. The memory card Shashinki.com provided is actually a bonus for you because original package does not come with any CF card except for the first batch of D4 will bundle with XQD card + card reader but there is no indication when it will stop from supplying the XQD card and the card reader.

Regards,

NIKON, MALAYSIA

untill stock last, with xqd reader n memory card

This is standard since D3 if I'm not mistaken... so far my friends using D3/D3s all have dual slot chargers. (Damn huge!)

He's probably showing the ISO performance? or was it the focus test chart? Either ways the exposure looks different for me for each image o_O

I think he was probably testing his focusing.. when he suddenly get the idea, "why don't i test the ISO performance now that I had the geared set up?" then while maintaining the shutter speed and aperture, he slowly racked the ISO up to let us see the ISO performance of D4..

just a wild guess.. haha.. no offense meant

edit: by the way.. if I have a kit lens (18-55), 35mm 1.8 and 85mm 1.4, d5100 and a nissin di622 flash.. and i want to take food photography (to help friend.. while trying to brush up my skills), is it ok if I use the 35mm for the lens? and where should I position the flash? wanna ask sifus here for opinion..

ya. i think he is showing how good the D4 for ISO performance and why put the chart there...i think because he baru jump from D80 to d4...means crop > full frame...

of course wan show how creamy the FF is drool.gif drool.gif drool.gif drool.gif *with wide open....

if i jump from D70s to D800 , i think i will do same shit too thumbup.gif
