hello fellow gnex owners.

I know some forumers have posted before, but it has really come to my attention that the part near the camera is very hot during usage especially when browsing with wifi and even some normal non 3d intensive game. experienced once surf until phone hang and reboot itself.

My phone is stock 4.0.1. Those with custom rom is better?

from the previous post from a few forumer, this heat issue are normal in my opinion.. if using custom rom, same also.

using custom 4.0.3 .also hot at that area.

My phone get really hot few days ago. I found out its my weather widget that cause the problem. It seems to not recognized my location and seem to keep on refreshing/updating using my wifi connection. At first I ignore and went to sleep. Following morning it is still hot even though I never touch my phone while sleeping.
I turn off my wifi and reinstall my widget. Since then my phone never get as hot as it was. It warm but barely noticeable.
Try to turn off you wifi/mobile network and let the phone idle for few minutes. If the heat is gone, then some of your apps or widgets is not working properly. If the heat is still there, then I don't know what to advise.

For sygic, do we need to download map using the app? Can we download it somewhere?

lol. use it la then. i also take it from a forumer, but i forgot where

sygic need to download it own database around 70mb something. then after it finish, you can download map from sygic downloader. malaysia map around 30mb i think.

Have any of you guys registered for Warranty? I dunno how to register... coz samsung malaysia's warranty registration page dont have galaxy nexus..
