Ok i just get my Gnex Mercury Casing from South Korea. Shipment date on 10/01/2012, arrive on 17/01/2012. Total 7 Days which is quite fast. My review on this casing:

PROS

a) Fit perfectly and feel confident.

b) Holes for speaker, mic, camera, headphone jack, usb, power and volume button fit position perfectly.

c) Nice quality. (dont compare with those over rm100 pls)

d) Nice color, as shown in pictures.

e) Cover the whole phone nicely. Means u can actually put ur gnex screen face down without scratching on ur screen.

f) Fair price + free screen protector.

CONS

a) Leave fingerprint @ oily surface on the casing. Personally i dont mind coz we are looking at the screen not the casing.

b) Got little shinning shinning dots on the casing surface which i found a bit girly.

Here Some Pictures Taken for my Gnex, ENJOY!!

Sorry wanna ask about the gnex toolkit... We just need to follow the steps inside the toolkit to root + backup? Example step 1. install usb driver, 2. unlock,3. root, 4.rename restore file? Actually what is rename restore file? WE must do that?? If we do nandriod backup.. where will our backup keep? can we keep the backup inside our com?

Yeah but I just did until root. Then do nandroid back up, transfer the back up folder into PC (find it in clockworkmod folder > backup) then start to flash any custom ROM

need to root + backup + unlock will wipe data... scare did something wrong and my gnex bb sad.gif And 4.0.2 just fix minor bug for verizon phone (correct me if i am wrong). But 4.0.3 got a lot change.. So maybe wait till 4.0.3 officially come out only change to yakju if yakjuxw still no update... Eh the maxis data plan there still old price with 3GB rm88... bundle with phone more expensive ka?

v4.0.2
The Android 4.0.2 update was released on 28 November 2011, and fixed minor bugs on the Verizon Galaxy Nexus, the US launch of which was later delayed until December 2011

*Taken from Wikipedia. So i think there is no need rush to update 4.0.2 unless we want yakju in our phone.

Added on January 18, 2012, 2:06 pmBtw what is the different between verizon galaxy nexus and our gnex?

maybe for newbie, stay and familiar with stock first. for huge improvement or mod is only happen in custom rom in short term. once you ready, unlock bootloader, flash recovery, nandroid, flash custom rom.
next step, flash any better kernel, flash newer version of radio, mod launcher and so on.. really fun on flashing...  laugh.gif

Because of the fun.. Everyday i am tempted to root my phone but i dont have that guts to do so.. + i am newbie... Need to find sifu sit beside me only can... Who wan teach me tuition for rooting!! Haha... $$$$$$$

My GNex never hang from day one ( 6 Jan ) till now , already 2 weeks. And I am on cook rom since day 2.  Are you using any of those cracked/pirated apps or apps installed from apk downloaded from elsewhere - these will usually cause such issues. If your apps are all clean apps, than I suggest you do a factory reset and if it occur again, could be motherboard issues
*
I suspected is juice defender problem... All my apps install from android market d... Will update to 4.0.2 yakju help? Coz i now using stock yakjuxw 4.0.1
