been a week on my gnex, and just now tried the headset, the sound quality is really bad, worse than my old sony ericsson phone, is this phone's  sound quality really that bad? or only my phone like that? no bass at all, tried with other earphone also the same, sound like cheap mp3 player, do we need some apps to produce quality sound or it is a hardware problem?? how about u guys? happy with the headset sound? i hope it is not hardware problem
*
Mine is working fine. Tried with my iPod earphone and the quality is great. You might want to check the sound setting when playing the music to make sure the equalizer is ON.

Hi guys, I tried to flash the upgraded ARHD 2.1.5 ROM, did the clear Dalvik Cache and wipe data and then flash the ROM. However, I realized that I need to re-setup the phone, restore all the apps and data manually again. Question is, I thought flashing an upgraded ROM will not wipe previous system apps and data??? rclxub.gif

Anyone can clarify on this?

That is because you choose wipe data which is factory reset
*
Arghhh..! No wonder... doh.gif So in the future when I want to flash the upgraded ROM, just need to clear Dalvik cache will do? Any other actions that I should beware of?

depending on the rom's nature. if dev ask u to wipe, den u better wipe. if din ask u to wipe, its recommended to wipe.

QUOTE(benny888 @ Feb 2 2012, 10:16 PM)
Most will ask you to wipe but i never even moving among developers. Anyway is your choice as you can always wipe data in recovery mode if phone fail to boot
*
Guess in the future will see the developer whether it is a must or optional. Can be quite hassle to restore back those widgets especially since Titanium Backup can't do that... sweat.gif Thanks Fallenangelz and Uncle Benny! thumbup.gif

ho-ll, did you use super wipe lite before you flash ARHD 2.1.5 ROM?
*
Nope I didn't, previously when first installed 2.1.3 already wiped once..

This is SPECTACULAR! shocking.gif So the main contributor to this battery saving is the ROM or kernel??
