100GB already more than enough for me. i don't think you got that much time to watch all the 100GB drama, movies, etc

unless you are sitting in front of the pc 24x7

That is the funny point of typical mindset, complaining but do not even know if they required that much of speeds. Oh well we do not need to argue as faggot as them though.
*
you dont need 24/7 to watch 100gb of movie, just 4 hours will do..
2 bluray movie can finish more than 100gb and some ppl do need more than 100gb

for RM179,
15mbps unlimited vs 100mbps 100gb,
If my area got coverage, I'll choose 15mbps unlimited package which is far more worth than that gimmick 100mbps local speed with quota limit..
With 15mbps download a day can give u 150GB or more already, so which more worth? think urself..

If ur coverage have TIME u can freely choose unlimited or limited quota package then choose the package that most fit u.. smile.gif
it wont be some TIME coverage with 100mbps dont have other unlimited package, its weird isn't it..
btw, just my personal opinion about the quota thingy.. everyone is free to consider which package suit them most..

Anyone can post some photos showing how their fibre optics are running around in their house? I'm interested to subscribe but I would like to plan how the cable runs. I have only renovated my house recently. So, I would like to avoid seeing cables around.

totally agree with you bro, 100GB quota with the 100mbps speed which is (12.5MB/sec download), sure will exceed the quota in lets say 1 week for me. for me i also will go for 15mbps package with NO QUOTA rclxms.gif

Thanks for that. I've already read this. But, I wanted to see some photos which show how the cables running around in the house.

EDIT: Also, how does the cables actually come into your house in a condominium? Is it going to be glued at the walkway?

Then don't you feel that the 100mbps with 100GB is more of a gimmick than for consistent internet usage?Might as well just settle for 15mbps RM 179 unlimited so that you suddenly don't get buffering/slowdown on youtube and other high intensive usage.

As far as i can understand 100mbps with 100GB quota is not a freaking steal. It feels just like buying 100GB quota rather than a very fast internet.I personally feel that might as well don't introduce such a plan.

As far as limited coverage and cheaper prices go for TIME,are you saying TM with its large coverage(economies of scale) cannot provide cheaper prices?TBH i think TM just doesn't want to do it cuz they just don't give a damn.

I think TIME has smaller customer base but higher subscription rate to their services and i personally feel that they can do better than a 100GB cap.

not everyone is a download whore and spends their entire internet activity downloading/stealing movies, apps, games, music.

there is not only ONE type of demographic. there are people like me who needs fast speed just to browse, stream, upload 10mb emails, upload large medias to web servers etc.

just because you can download 100gb in 2.222 hours doesn't mean everyone else can or wants to.

but fret not, time also offers unlimited quota at your expense!

i just hope i have less people like you subscribing to time(yes offense) because you will saturate the network for everyone else and give CSC a bad time due to your lack of know how.

The fibre cable is coming from the riser room where TIME has its splitter installed there.

Well through walkway, it really depends on condos, some condos will require concealed, some allowed using pvc pipes, some jus allowed bare cable with glue......this very much depend on individual condo requirement.

For those wondering how the cables are being routed into the house and how does it run to the distribution terminal, sharing my installation photos below. Done under Astro IPTV but fibre service by TIME.

What i wanna say is that it is better to get unlimited 15mbps than a 100mbps with 100gb quota, which i think is more worth it since it is same price anyways.

With such a fast connection it is very easy to burn through 100gb and you don't even need to be a download whore to do so.Just share it with few other people in the family and 100gb easily gone in a few days perhaps.

Fibre networks got more than enough bandwidth to go around,if done correctly. The real download whores are the ones downloading more than 500GB IMHO with a residential connection so you really should be scolding those people.

I think TIME only cover high rise condos, they will not going to housing area and compete with Maxis HSBB.

That's is why I never share my connection .... I prefer to use 5 Mbps on my own...
