you need to understand how the internet works. just because you have 10mbps doesn't you can download 10mbps from anywhere on the internet. you need to take the server you are downloading from into account.

I have just tested the download from download.com and yes, the download speed is very unsatisfying 30kb/s-60kb/s, but only if I do not use parallel download, if I use download manager it reach about 150kb/s on 4 chunk and 300kb/s on 8 chunk. Just my 2cent, there might be some bandwidth slimming applied on CNET, try to test download file from some other site,
I am not sure whats wrong, but current solution u can use download manager that support multi chunk/parallel splitting

Check the router also, sometimes bad router setting may affect (but don't touch anything if don't know), if the download manager also show slow speed, try to escalate it to the customer service.

Well, I am streamyx 4mbps user b4 also, and same can't be said for streamyx though. I need vpn just to enable p2p run at higher than 20kb/s, and streaming, tough luck. Streaming, especially the live one, can just disconnect in between now and then, not to say a quite high ping (probably High Rise Building) for gaming. But in the end, different location has different speed, so can't really say much, some area Unifi are good (friends from damansara experience good speed there, while pj quite unstable). Customer service wise, I have to admit some of them are quite not that knowledgeable (I called the CS 4 times, and all of them say my place is not covered, LoL), but lucky I got one contractor which is nice, hehehehe.
In the end, all ISP is on best effort basis, if they can't, then they won't. Maybe its not ur luck to use Time, but enjoy your Unifi, its also not bad.
