you need to read up on my posts. this happens at peak hours like 8pm to 1am occasionally 3pm to 6pm.

my attachment shows 6:30pm to 12:30am..

they claim to be the first and only ISP in malaysia that uses 100% fiber but offers a bandwidth slower than the cheapest tm nut adsl package

for anyone that is thinking to switch to Time, i'd highly suggest you put that on a hold until this issue is fully resolved for over a month.

this issue has been going on for about 3 weeks now and its not even intermittent, its a constant ongoing issue.

Hi Bro... I'm not sure whether this is individual case or it really affects the whole area or condo you currently staying.

Have you launched a report with these facts to TIME ?

I'm also compiling some of the speed issues here & gonna write in to TIME.

Last month we have received a few customers complaints from one of the condo here at Gurney, Penang. It was due to maintenance job being done.

pretty sure someone else made a trace route had the same issue as me during peak hours

also i did a speed test at a non peak hour(8:30am) my speed was still quite horrible at 2.6 Mbps.

get anyone with Time to do a speed test to SF if you want to find out if its an isolated issue or now

i have been emailing time cusc back and forth for about 3 weeks now

I'll try to do traceroute tonight as per your issue, 9PM-1AM and will do it every half an hour to compare.

Just finished the installation, question though for e1000
Anyone know how to disable the e1000 WPS, default firmware? Currently I disable the wifi to prevent wireless tapping.

As of Jan 9 2012, there is no way to fully disable WPS on Linksys products,

wait availability of new firmware to disable WPS

You guys need to understand that at every time.net.my node, your latency is suppose to be below 8ms and not 60ms and above. Even at ADSL, your first few hops are below 25ms.

Below is a network graph of a time lapse between 4pm and 10pm. As you can see the network is stable from 4pm to 6:30pm, after that it gets unstable for awhile. As per usual, Time starts lagging again every night 8:30pm onward to 1am. I am fairly certain the entire Time network are experiencing this issue. Just that most of us don't have the networking understanding to file a complaint so that Time can actually take this seriously. I have been emailing Time CSC for the past month with all my network graph time lapse and nothing has been done to resolve this issue. Not to mention our international bandwidth(especially US) has been throttled quite badly.

Please raise a complaint on TIME CSC. their CSC works around the clock and mostly friendly.

It seems like a lot of people, including me, are having problem during peak hours 6pm-1am. It's been like this for the last few weeks. Has anyone with this problem received any help or seen any improvement so far?

today the latency has been behaving quite well

only a 16ms spike and the rest are fine.

how my speedtest to SF is still bad
