Hello? Can I ask some question?
I checked that there is a 12 month contract for Time fibre, is it true? Thanks

@jjj2
I will just about to register this coming monday, have emailed the CS regarding the registration. In the email, it is stated that I will be receiving the WRT120N. I will try to clarify with them again, but just want to find out anyone receiving the WRT120N and not the E1000. |

Just finished the installation, question though for e1000
Anyone know how to disable the e1000 WPS, default firmware? Currently I disable the wifi to prevent wireless tapping. |

If i understand what you mean, then, go to WAN setting in your tp-link, set it to receive DHCP then it should do (Reminder, set different IP class, simple, if your cisco is using 192.168.0.xxx range, your TP link must be in 192.168.1.xxx range)
But this approach is not recommended, as you will be creating 2 different network ip Another one is W-AP switch mode, is by assigning your tp-link an IP address which outside DHCP of Cisco Router (e.g, if your DHCP pool start from 192.168.1.100, you can set TPlink at 192.168.1.50) in Default Gateway address, and just plug the cable from Cisco router in one of the LAN port, not the WAN (refer to the manual) reff http://www.ezlan.net/Wireless_Modes.html http://www.dslreports.com/faq/11233 hope it helps |

Did they increase our current boost speed to 100mbps? If yes, which package got "Affected"?
edit: I saw the change in the speed and package subscription, so for us previously who uses 6mbps package, do we get free upgrade to 8mbps? Or we still stuck with 6mbps (frankly kinda unfair, because we pay more expensive) This post has been edited by steakikan: Sep 4 2012, 04:10 PM |

Agree with ezinger, so how about those using old package? It is more expensive per bandwidth than the current one? Is there option to upgrade(or downgrade?)

@fireballs
I think astro one separate from time package, their package is quite different, i think its more of astro obligation, not time. But then, why not, upgrade those from old package, it is kinda sad as the old package is more expensive (I think 6mbps is quite adequate, just that the price is quite expensive) Please, upgrade old customer package! |

Which download are slow?
Mine still quite fine not much issue with download speed, anyway u can complain with speedtest proof if your speed is unstable (but not sure which speedtest they want you to test) edit: I download from MSDN This post has been edited by steakikan: Sep 5 2012, 08:44 PM |
