ezinger,

What is your configuration on the Cisco E1000 and Netgear router? Did you setup PPOE on your Netgear?
I need some advice on setting up my TimeCapsule.

Thanks and advance.
*
PPPoE is on my netgear/cisco whichever i use. plug in your time capsule on the cisco or your personal router.

What magical router are you using ezinger? Looking to replace my aging DDWRT with a new magical high powered one... which is apparently what you're using...

Also, random TdC personnel in thread - TdC CMO mentioned that budget has been approved for Taman Desa FTTH for condos. Any updates on that?

Hi Bro...there is no problem. Any Router can be used.

Very simple, just configure the PPPOE setting in your router.

You may consider MikroTik. Reliable hardware and ROS.

I just readed this whole thread, i'm living in perak which is the same as you.

Goingto give up on Time broadband, because from what i readed, they're only catered to condominium or high buildingds.

as for Perak region where most are landed properties, wait 10 years.

even unifi is not widely available in perak, not to say Selangor, and Perak would have to wait 1~4 years before having it coverage for our place.

If Unifi have to wait 1~4 years, how about Time? 5~10 years possibly.

until to this date, i don't understand how people's mindset works. let's say a example.

A Person that is interested in doing burger stall business. and he open a Burger Stall in A Region. Not Considering B Region or C Region.

Now what? B and C Region community don't have the money to pay? don't know their mindset, seems like they prefer competitive market where earning money is hard than investing it on another open market where there's no competition.

Not i'm being racist, other race like chinese or indian also have.
You see alot of this happens on Burger stall between Malays in alot of place, where you see a burger stall is having very good business, next few days or few weeks, another burger stall open just few blocks away or opposite streets. doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif

I will just about to register this coming monday, have emailed the CS regarding the registration. In the email, it is stated that I will be receiving the WRT120N. I will try to clarify with them again, but just want to find out anyone receiving the WRT120N and not the E1000.

Hi ..I guess the TIME CS must have meant the E1000, they just too used to mention WRT120N...LOL...

I've feedback to them about the WRT120N issue since end of last year...now no more using WRT120N, all will be using Cisco Linksys E1000 or Cisco SRP527W (for business Plus package).

Time Broadband is stupid they spose to conquer the ADSL market and fibre martket in Perak because they have the boost technology leave the high condominium to P1wimax,why the ISP not coperating with each other to stop TMnet monoply?? i hate monoply! please la our dear MB and Opsition do some thing's about his...for the people to save our money not wasted on high bill but low speed of Internet like TM.

1) What does "Boost Technology" have to do with conquering the ADSL/fibre market? I have no idea what you think "Boost Technology" is... since technically it's just time based rate limiting...
2) Economy of scale - TIME would be stupid if they tried to cover only houses instead of condos/apartments. Spend $10 to cover 500 people, or spend $10 to cover 1 person. Hmm...
