go to ur router amind page (usualy 192.168.1.1) then try to find LAN options...
you will see (DHCP Server) somwhere there.. turn it off/disable it and now u can use ur streamyx router to extend ur unifi network..

if u give the model maybe i can give better instruction

Bro, leave the Zyxel out for now. Turn it off so it doesn't interfere.

Check your DIR-615 settings for WiFi. Left menu, click "Wireless Setup" then click "Manual Wireless Connection Setup"

Is "Enable Auto Channel Selection" checked? If it is checked, uncheck it, save settings and try again with your tablet.

If still cannot work, go to Advanced and Advanced Wireless.
Is Bandwidth set to "20/40 MHz(Auto)"? If it is, change it to "20 MHz", save settings and try again with your tablet.

Do you have any other devices? Notebook maybe? Phone? Can they see your DIR-615 WiFi and connect to the internet? Just to confirm it's not a bad unit.

RT-N56U rich people router bro, me small small ikan bilis only, wallet not enough big. smile.gif
Settled for TP-Link only, N16 also plan to buy not yet materialise. angan2x saje.

56U different chip, RAM also big.
Rich? What you're asking requires a little bit more from the hardware. When something comes out and meets (even exceeds) your requirements, you're expecting it to come cheap? Expensive? Maybe... But what is RM 450 these days? whistling.gif

My advise? Get something that you can use. Not something that can meet you halfway only to disappoint you and you go round and round the never ending upgrade path.

I agree with 47ronin. n56u is overpriced for its feature set. Draytek even worse, 700+ is it? Maybe it's gone down. TP-Link 1043ND is a good economical choice.

You parents must be rich for you to whistle at RM450. That's how much my auntie makes in 2 weeks cleaning houses for people. Some people are lucky.

Did you have to change both settings or just one of them to get it working? Just for my future reference.

How did you get that price? I emailed Draytek last week and they quoted me RM460 for the non-wifi Vigor2130. I mean at RM480 for the 2130n then it's a clear choice over the Asus n56u.

I hope they'd reduce the price for their non-wifi model too. I don't need another dual-band wifi router. I'm still using my trusty Airport Extreme from early 2010. Another rich people router. :-) Well, it was the only router with the Apple logo that I can find at that time. Oh and dual band too.

Cool. One of my MacBooks have the same problem. If the router (not DIR-615, forgot which router already) is on auto channel, the MacBook can't see the Wifi network.

Please do not jump into conclusion and imply I'm sucking my parents dry... I work hard for the last 14 years and earn my living and earn it the correct way just like what most working people would do. I support my parents and family now and sometimes indulge myself on gadgets.

Seeing when one can afford various other electronic gadgets, I don't think RM 450 is a lot to cough out.

47ronin's requirements are simply and that he wants to run wireless n and b/g together and without any speed problems. So you're saying the 1043ND is able to run 2.4GHz and 5GHz dual band? wink.gif The 1043ND would not solve his problem.

I think you know back then it was the most expensive consumer router that you could buy. But like you I whistled too.
