QUOTE(MoneyTree88 @ Nov 8 2012, 11:28 AM) I actually didn't sign the petition as I believe in development, merely warning those intending to stay there. Ara Greens is a small drop in the water compared to the thousands and thousands of Sime office workers who will soon move to Ara, then the Subang Airport will be completely gridlocked I assure you. |

QUOTE(HouseToLive @ Nov 2 2012, 02:00 PM) U referring to Subang Airport Highway? Yes it can get really bad at times, so are most major highways. Hopefully the completion on MRT would ease it slightly. But for those heading towards Tropicana / Bdr Utama / Kota D'sara direction isnt Persiaran Tropicana is a much better alternative. Again traffic congestion is inevitable in KV. Dude, do you think if you have Ferrari would you stil take MRT?MRT will only helped small percentage in terms of traffic. In western country people are willing to walk to their work place, this is due to the weather are not so hot as in Malaysia..... So sometimes those who stays deep-deep inside Ara Damansara maybe they are not willing walk to MRT station. They might be patah balik. Just 2 cents lah. And when all Sime Darby employees shifted to Ara Damansara office, the traffic will be massive which already is at the moment. I am writting this not because i didn't like Ara Damansara, it's a nice well planned development. I even had dinner at Lala Chong. But i just hate the traffic. Any idea when Sime people will move in? Still look so empty. I heard some of the Sime divisions originally planned to move in may not be doing so... |

The Sales and Marketing division, Product Division and Finance Division had moved in to Ara since early of the year. I not sure whether other div had move in or no. |

The MRT (like what I've already said ealier) will ease it slightly so will the end of the tracks & station constructions which currently block of lane space on most roads. Traffic congestion is inevitable in KV, in case u didn't realise, princess. This is Ara Green topic & we should stick to it. |

QUOTE(Nikmon @ Nov 9 2012, 04:33 PM) Since it's Sime Darby project and going to be their HQ firstly by relocating all their companies to AD, it's a sign of confidence otherwise we will be wondering why notSecondly Sime Darby has so many employees, no idea how many, but can be 10,000 or 20,000 or more The demand for food, retail, services etc will surely bring lots of spillover effect for AD But also wondering why no sign of Tesco construction starting... Sime Darby has 30% shares in Tesco... |

But dont put so much expectation for Sime Darby to bring or live up their commercial products. Look at Putra Heights, an even matured township with such huge number of houses but the shops still empty and residents have to rely going other areas for amenities. |

And Tesco still no sign of commencing construction, should take at least 2 years to open even if start now...Look at Putra Heights, an even matured township with such huge number of houses but the shops still empty and residents have to rely going other areas for amenities. Nova Suajana wants to introduce Pavillion managed F&B outlets...plus wait for Aragreens Village to inject some commercial into Ara Damansara... |
