Yes, go change it. Go to machines service centre in north point mid valley. You will get a replacement unit within 1 week. . Just bring the Apple TV, no need box, remote etc.

will i get the newer 2013 model for atv3 or the will replace with 2012 atv3 model with problem fixed? coz my previous model is from 2012 model

If yours if from 2012 it should be model A1427, so you will get the same replacement model unit. In 2013, model A1469 was released with a slight difference in processor and power saving chip.

you probably have more luck in ATV4.
the IOS for ATV are stripped down from the other IOS, that's why it's harder to achieve jailbreak...

stuff that can be used on other IOS, can't exactly be implemented for ATV IOS
