Don't waste your money on expensive hdmi cables. All are the same. Just buy one from any computer or electronic shop for as low as RM25.

Man regret not getting another one to replace Wii during the sales! Only RM288. Any idea when there would be another sale this year? Or just wait for ATV4 if ever there is a new version.

i just bought the Apple TV from apple store got discount, and it will arrive in few more days. I will try to setup the HULU+ and the netflix without jailbreaking it. lol see could it work or not

The fiancé of my wife's friend in Sydney has an ATV and they are subscribed to Netflix (he uses the ATV to watch programs like MSL, NFL, and NBA)...

Too bad we can't get Hulu or Netflix here in Malaysia without jailbreaking the ATV, otherwise I would have bought one to place in my new condo!

Who says u need to jailbreak to watch netflix or hulu? Just subscribe to netflix and use a non-geo restricted DNS like tunlr, unlocator, etc

I'm watching Netflix and Hulu+ with stock Apple TV 3 in Malaysia. No need jail break whatsoever.

just setup the atv, it work with netflix and hulu+ but like Disney XD, Disney Junior, NBA, ESPN, HBO go not working cause didn`t have US cable subscription. My ATV arrived yesterday, super fast delivery from apple singapore.

p/s : now click away with the remote in hulu+ and netflix... really cool, but newest series always have to watch in website, darn.

U watching netflix, how's the video quality?

Depending on the movie but mostly are 1080p HD. Bear in mind that ATV 3 can play 1080p whereas ATV 2 can only support up to 720p.

I also read that Netflix US has the best TV programs. In order to watch the US Netflix should I pay particular attention in the initiating setting up of my ATV for the first time? I read something like setting your iTunes account using the US address,,, bla bla bla... What does iTunes have to do with Netflix or other apps in ATV? Thanks.
