My bad, it looks like a USB Broadband. But it actually a Mifi. But the speed is only 21mbps max. Is that good enough when you have 3 gadgets using it simultaneously? Also, I can't use it on the go.

You can config it on the web interface of any mifi device which usually is pre-configured.

Well, 21Mbps doesn't mean you will get full 21Mbps. Depending on your area as well, if it is not 21Mbps or 42Mbps enabled, you will not get to maximize though.

You mean the 21Mbps is for the internet speed to the Mifi? And not the bandwidth from the Mifi to the other connected devices?

Hehe. I don't use MiFi, I use a good modem and pair with router.

Huawei E586. Support up to 21mbps for 3G Network which subjected to telco capability as well
As for the LAN part. Wireless N is 150mbps. Just hopefully the LAN chip able to support

It is permanently stored there.
I have two routers, so I place one in my house in PJ and another one in hometown - PD.
So, I only need to bring my modem if I go back hometown.

If you want a MiFi for the sake of network sharing and could sacrifice the mobility, 3G router is a better choice. More stable in my opinion.

Actually you should ask yourself whether you want the internet connection to be portable or fix permanently at home?
if portable then get a mifi.
if just for home usage then get a router.

and 21.6mbps modem / mifi is good enough to be used.

Hi, yes, I want a Mifi as I am mobile. That's why I am asking for a recommendation of a Mifi brand and model.

Depends on your budget as well.

1. Huawei 58xx series (583x,585,586,587). Elegant but (more) expensive solution.

2. Hame MPR-A1 (or A2) + 3G/HSPA usb modem (speed depends on your modem): Cheaper solution

The E355 + powerbank should work as a portable hotspot too.

Seems like Huawei is a more established brand choice. I presume 587 is the latest model among the 58xx series? I will check those models out.
