Those booking Prius C, make sure you carefully listen to the whining sound when the car slowing down or coasting to stop. Its the recharging stage and quite obvious. Some could accept it, some might not. Make sure u test drive the car. The 'vios' growl when u really push the car were also there but i guess most malaysian already used to that.

Road noise about par with Insight (and prius ).

Where electric motors and batteries is concerned, i placed my trust more on Toyota than on Honda as they have a an electric forklift/trucks division and their products has been in the market for more than 30 years and is market leader in the industry they compete. With that kinda experience, its gives u the confidence..........

Because many people know that a car is much more than just personal taste for fancy interior or perceived company image. You might see it differently when you actually look at all the pros and cons (safety, features, reliability, fuel etc., see my previous post).

the impression i gather here in this thread is.....prius c and prius sucks because they are not full hybrid and UMW makes a lot of money, so should buy competitor

new cars launching usually more bash than praise...then awhile after launching, more praise than bash...it's usual here in Malaysia...

prius C have more Butthurt bash...
