E-450's higher TDP doesn't make it suitable for the smaller 10" netbooks. It's fine with the larger ones because they have better cooling systems.

Do note, 1015B would be the most powerful unit overall but it has been already EOL-ed. So finding stock for it will be difficult.

Warranty isn't an issue with Asus usually, unless you have a model which they do not have access to the parts readily.

Pretty much an Asus U46SV if you can get it for about RM2200-2300.
And for that hanging problem, Microsoft Office usually saves and recovers documents if a crash happens. |

QUOTE(ayanami_tard @ Feb 25 2012, 01:46 AM) anyone know where to find toughbook in malaysia? Hmm... is it really necessary to have something on the scale of a Toughbook? wanna propose to uni to buy few so inb4 anyone ask why the hay an everydayman need a toughbook QUOTE(Volt @ Feb 25 2012, 07:11 AM) Hi guys, Im helping a friend to buy a laptop this weekend. Need a recommendation for a budget gaming laptop that can at least play newest game in low setting. Budget around RM2.5K. Must be light weight, without dvd burner and no larger then 14" (the smaller the better). U32U is not powerful enough imho. Any recommendation? Got few choices like: - Asus u32u - Asus u46sd - Asus VX6S VX6S is more powerful but you lack the baterry life. U46SV is the only one that is powerful enough, is lightweight and is still slim but it has a DVD drive. |

Ivy Bridge won't bring too much improvement to the table. Just slightly better battery life due to less heat and power consumption from a 22nm die fabrication.

Could consider the U46SV. It's more like a 14" laptop in a 13" chassis.

QUOTE(annas473 @ Apr 7 2012, 02:05 AM) TS [PF] T.J., We get our list here, in the frequently update Notebook Price Catalogue is it possible to share all the laptop list that u have with me? I might need to do some research about the laptop i gonna buy.. RM4k can buy anything previous laptop of mine was Acer and HP, ending up selling it back.. this time hope can last longer thanks in advance QUOTE(duan lang @ Apr 7 2012, 10:28 AM) thats very helpful.. If you are looking for pure performance and value for money, you can't do wrong with the G53SX. The M14X would be a slightly better choice if you're into the bling and a lighter and smaller system.im just confused which one is better between alienware m14x and asus g53.. and what is your opinion about Samsung Series 5 ULTRA 530U 13" and DELL XPS L511Z LAPTOP? |

QUOTE(chiahau @ Apr 7 2012, 01:26 PM) Memang no problem one la.. Even the MBP will get hot when gaming. Even my Alienware and Sager gets hot when i game alot.. It's normal. The older Dv6 version however, might roast your hands I think that was like 1 years ago punya issues. You want something that does not get hot when you game? Get a Mac And as i keep telling you, MAKE SURE THE BOX IS SEALED BEFORE YOU PAY I don't accept open boxes for what reason whatsoever. The MBP15 for example, can get unbearable at times. |
