If omitting the 7,200rpm requirements, I guess this one would be a good pick:

My frend recommended me this. A43SD-VX420V, wouldn't this one better? given that the GT is higher (GT610) but the price is so much lower, 2k, i wonder. why... *actually I prefer gud screen, but not reli fond towards the speaker (though it is kind of important) LOL.

I need some opinion from all SIFUs here...

looking for a laptop :-

1. Preferred Brand : any good quality and reliable brand
2. Budget : below 2k
3. Usage :surfing, movie, music, study, presentation, microsoft word.
4. Preferred laptop/screen size : 14 or less than 15 and not too heavy weight.

How is IPAD or samsung galaxy tab compared to laptop??

GT525M is still better than the GT610M (higher number doesn't mean that its more powerful)... The Asus A43Sd is a budget-line notebook, and the screen is not as good as that of Toshiba's L745/P745... L745 is budget line whereas P745 is premium line
