But even if you have a bad player, a good sound engineer can fix everything. Lol. Sad but true.

I think a good player and good sound engineer will produce a great sound. They can complement each other.
A bad player will still be a bad player even with an excellent sound engineer, the sound engineer can make the drums sound good, but not the drummer - big difference there IMO.
A badly tuned drum can sound better with a good sound engineer.
I'm relatively bandless. HAHA. I do session work though. I disagree. A good player still needs a good sound engineer. You don't see good players hiring bad sound engineers.
Yup, agree with that. Both work together to produce great sound.

Actually most of the stuff can be arranged so a good sound engineer can fix most parts. Not the drummer itself of course.

Actually my sentence wasn't well put into context. But I digress lol.

Beautiful drums. How do they sound?
Yeah, they seriously look nice. The handphone photo doesn't do them justice.
I don't really know how to describe the way they sound ... but they sound really nice. My wife described it as Warm and LOUD We muffled the Bass Drum with the supplied pillow and in addition we added a blanket. + a SoundOff muffler thingy on the batter head.
Here's a same set from youtube.

Noo....should let the bass drum sing wide open
We did try ... See the curtains to the right of the drum set? It rattled the windows !! Then we opened the Bass Drum and added the pillow and the SoundOff muffler. ... It was still loud. Then we decided to add the blanket
