QUOTE(flipmode @ Jun 15 2012, 09:02 AM) flame, christmas need lower temp to grow. java is the only moss that grow better in normal temperature (29-30). want to speed up? take out ur moss and put it in the tank that have co2 and cooler water, after in grow lush and bushy, put it back in ur shrimp tank... co2 & cooler temperature does help moss growing. mine got bushy after 2 month only...3 month become jungle already...have to trim down, sell it to my friend who want to start moss tank.(poison him kaw2 to start moss tank..and did it! ) my coral moss doesnt grow since it need cooler temperature..25 below...now it only "survive" in my tank...huhu ic...that one of the reason why they grow so slow. Btw did you put any fert?

arrow, what shrimp is your profile photo showing?
I went to EA to buy shrimp last weekend. I pointed to two shrimps, the staff told me they were cherry shrimps. But I am doubtful whether they are cherry shrimps.
One of it is full red, similar to arrow's profile photo. The other one is semi red, half transparent.

hopefully you be grandpa to more shrimplets soon, this shrimp have been berried for like 2 to 3 week, so a week or two will give birth. but you need to "jaga" water quality else now you see it later you don't. and cover your filter inlet with sponge or stainless stain mesh cover, mr.ciohbu selling some.

My filter inlet is already covered with sponge. By the way, dosed in some mosura gravida into the tank. The shrimps suddenly became so excited (swimming up & around). Hope that's a normal reaction.

Hope that's a normal reaction. that is the effect of gravidas, it simulate their sexual urges, their action refer to as dancing. that why borneowild came out a similar more potent product called DANCE.

Just got 5 RCS to join my mini school of neon tetras they seem to be doing well after 24 hours. the tetras are pretty chill and don't seem to be bothering them. one even moulted (although im not sure if thats a good sign ) they seem to be lovin the fern there! I have one question though, will i be able to transform my cherries to fire reds through breeding? Attached thumbnail(s)
