I've got some white thin worms wriggling around in my tank (not planaria) & damn difficult to catch it. Got some tiny white bugs scurrying around too. Don't know where those came from.

Hopefully none of it will disturb my shrimps. Been some time now since I noticed it. Bugs are so tiny I can't even take a pic of it. Look kinda like aphids though...hmmm...
*
In my tank there are this small white creature in a group size is like a dot! There are many in fire red tank...its white in colour and in a group kinda. They hop frm one place to the other.
Put in planaria trap it doesnt work. Planaria goes hiding!
Cherry shrimps eaten up all barley food however fire red are not looking at it. Only the shrimplets going for it.
By the way noticed 2 days most of fire red sits on the plants. Wonder why....

New setup tank would not have this problem. This is from experience. Later on when u add the plant or moss. They will also start coming.

I don't think so Lily. Spoke to Park earlier this week, he's not feeling well so don't feel like opening. Sales for those discounted ones will commence next week. Unless of course he has updated fb & I have not checked it yet.

So bro, what you're saying is...if the tank is mature & parameters are right these critters will start appearing? If yes I'm glad, although it's not so pleasing for the eye tongue.gif

Those bugs in mine don't really group together...well scattered. My reds are everywhere...on or in between rocks, on or under plants. Busy lil buggers they are laugh.gif

Ya have same kinda view too...when lights are off it's party time for these bugs!

Also, I'll be a proud 'grandfather' soon!!! laugh.gif Spent God knows how long yesterday late night watching 1 of the red in the process of berrying. Cool experience I must say seeing how the eggs coming out from egg sac & transferring it behind & slowly arranging those eggs properly. What amuses me was while it was doing it it was also busy eating...good multitasking! biggrin.gif

Anyway am elated my shrimp could berry. Hope all will be turn out well eventually. Shrimplets are more active now and can be seen more often.

Just waiting to get a small otto now (no stock @ lfs sad.gif ) and hopefully...a chance to get some borraras birgittae. Can't find it anywhere! sad.gif

No need otto if you have enough shrimp. Otto tend to compete the food and sometimes run 'amok' dashing around. Boraras brigittae are seasonal wild caught fish. Shipment in only one or twice a year. Think next ysar knly available.
Yes. When water parameter is good. Those seed shrimp tend to multiply.

Ouch, thanks again for the input but had just gotten 1 before your reply. Didn't know they're scary pants. Turned pale once I got it from the lfs. It's still getting used to its new environment, color's slowly coming back but not moving so much.

Yeah, still remember you said before it's a seasonal fish. Bro if you've got any news on any lfs having next time appreciate if you can let me know too biggrin.gif

So that's what it's called - seed shrimp? Oh I guess they multiply faster than I can say 'shrimp'. Am seeing more now.

Oh my...sorry to hear that bro. A real heartache indeed! sad.gif

Drop 13dC? Man how cold was the water? Hope there's no other losses. I made sure my daughter don't touch anything by the aquarium...warned her when I first set it up.lol. Thankfully her itchy fingers hadn't done anything to it thus far *fingers crossed*

Just did my weekly wc. Boy was it a long one this time cleaning up the glass and all...*phew*
