What tank is that?

laugh.gif I do hope it turns out to be sweet as a lot of time, effort & $$$ had gone into it tongue.gif

It's an ADA imitation I guess. Clear glass (can't remember the type), more expensive than normal ones but cheaper than ADA's. Recommended by guy @ lfs biggrin.gif

Haha! Yes very right! Just a small 1' cube that's all. No luxury to have 2' like yours or more than 1 tank sad.gif tongue.gif

Err...it should be ~27l. But with the soil should be slightly less. Then again there's still water in the canister & chiller...so would make up to be the same or slighty more.

Forgot to mention earlier...itchy fingers me went & bought 3 low grade crs...unlucky for them to be my guinea pigs but hope they're lucky enough to survive. Just couldn't resist the temptation to try it out tongue.gif

Acclimated for 3hrs before going in the tank. Seem to be doing ok thus far...colors are back to normal now. *fingers crossing time* tongue.gif

I have one ordinary tank and the other was my 1st time bought it. Didnt know what it was but have the curve edge. They are 2 ft tank. Must keep budget down. After all its only me watching them. Better give them healthy food.

Oh, OK. Thought it was bigger than that. Well I had something smaller than 10l before... hardly could make anything nice out of that size, hence the 'upgrade' biggrin.gif

That's nice. Likely you'll have to get another small one since your shrimps are healthily breeding. All 3 types of Neos are in the same tank or separate? I think at least 2 types would be in the same tank?

Yeah, agree. I'm giving them different shrimp food on alternate & spinach. Malayans seem to devour the spinach more than the reds. sweat.gif

Seriously thinking of adding a couple of fish in here. Most of my collegues think I'm just keeping water plants since the shrimps are always hiding.

Quite paranoid about keeping the tank as clean as possible. Not necessarily a good thing.

Can let me know later?

Anyway it's been working ok for me. I just dose ~20% of the dosage.

lily64my Why don't you open the new thread and PM mod to close this since you're pretty active here and sifu arrow is busy.

I think it should be OK as long as it's not overdosed. Pretty much the same as when we inject CO2 in our tank... as Excel is just carbon but in liquid form.

I'm also injecting CO2 into my tank & dose flourish comprehensive 1x or 2x a week... shrimps are doing fine... of course... have to be careful on dosage wink.gif Also dosing BW Lush.

Blue one... hmm... can't be Seachem Stability right?

Haha... I agree on that... just a matter of how much 'crying' there would be tongue.gif
For me it was more on the failure when I initially set up the plants... thankfully not on shrimps.

Guess as long as enough homework is done beforehand the damage could be less/avoided altogether. Then again... it's why we have forums here... to learn and share wink.gif
