Want to have a look at Hp Pavilion dv6-6c19TX vs Asus N55SF. For me the most important considerations are the weight, the layout and the feel on first sight smile.gif

You guys know where can i see the demo for these both in Low Yat?

I downloaded and installed this driver http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwar...173806&sw_lang=

Do I still need to download and install THIS driver? http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwar...173806&sw_lang=

Or no need?

^ you don't need to download and install Intel graphic driver because AMD driver from HP already have that included.

Added on January 2, 2012, 1:31 pmIf you the type that want everything on the latest version.. you can try Leshcat's driver. You don't need to install HP driver, just remove everything and install his driver.

Thanks! rclxms.gif

Next question: In the BIOS, Under "System Configuration," there is a choice to enable or disable "Virtualization Technology." In my DV6, it is "disabled."

I run Windows XP 32-bit in VMWare Player often.

Do I need to enable Virtualization?

I'm really happy with HP technical support... just now I had some problem with my HP coolsense ( couldn't open the programme ) so I via internet chatting ( using HP Support Assistant ) and HP technical support staff actually guide me through everything and fix my problem!

it was so professional... case id no is automatically given... and the internet chatting is available 24/7 while the phone call is mon-friday... =D and they actually entertain my problem quickly...

only abit sad that's such technical support is only available for those under warranty as 2010 onwards they dont offer such service to those who are no longer under warranty... I feel they should at least entertain HP consumers who are loyal... =D overall... I'm really glad with HP technical support... ( they helped me fix my problem )

Forgot to ask.. what is the problem and what is the workaround they gave you? I could use it as reference. tongue.gif

3DMark06 will show the different between 2670QM+7690M XT vs 2630QM+6770M i guess. You'll get a nice jump in score with higher CPU frequency.
3DMark11 is good too.

Vantage score pretty much random depend on which driver u're using. I get 7.3k-7.4k on default with AMD 12.1-preview but 7.1k on DNA-12.1-prev.
Btw, do all test on performance/default setting + CoolSense on Optimize.

yeah I had the Batterycare installed and GPUZ as well... >.< let's say I'm almost afraid that my internal fan was dead... since I'm using laptop cooler as well...

I was just glad they managed to help me solved my problem...

Yes.. before u use Driversweeper, download extract filter.xml from attachment into DriverSweeper directory(default = ..\Program Files (x86)\Phyxion.net\Driver Sweeper\). Overwrite the file if it already there.

Attached File  Filters.zip ( 1.12k ) Number of downloads: 7

With this you'll have an option to clean Intel HD files and registry too.
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Remember only to tick AMD - Display + Intel HD Graphics.. not Intel - Chipset.

credit to Leshcat for the filter.

Got it. Thanks! smile.gif

Just curious, what will happen if I install Leshcat's driver over my existing drivers without first removing them with DriverSweeper?

Will Leshcat's drivers still work properly?

^ i'm not sure about that. laugh.gif

my guess it will still work normally. you can try that 1st because driversweeper is too much of a hassle imo. doh.gif

what about the HP tool drive? felt like trashing it too

I removed my recovery partition to make way for Linux. Since you already have your recovery disc.. go for it. hmm.gif

Since HP_tools partition only took 100mb.. i hid it from showing in My Computer.
