RM1699? Seems way too cheap to be true. Usual price should be closer to RM3k. Check thoroughly to make sure the forummer is a legitimate seller and accept only COD

Typo? i think they selling it for RM2,699 in garage sale. It is an imported model, so you can't extend the warranty here.

well... sometimes it's too good to be true u know... =D since the selling market price is around RM2XXX
be aware that it's imported set so you cant extend the warranty locally for additional 2 years warranty...

I don't know what to say.. that DV6 is definitely a better deal. If you can't live with 1 year warranty, i suggest go for N55SF with i5.

Too generic imo.. probably graphic driver or processor or the game itself. Does it still lag if you play at much lower detail and resolution? Are u using Coolest setting in Coolsense? Which driver version u currently using?

usually 1 yr warranty is enough no? HP laptops build quality is usually ok right?
N55SF is comparable to dv6? in terms of gaming performance

CPU i5 < i7 ( dv6 )
GPU GT555 < HD6770M ( dv6 )

=D that's the answer...

but it's hard to say about warranty... =D there's always a chance u know even if the failure rate is low... it depends on you whether you can live with 1 year warranty or not... otherwise like @Acid said... go for N55SF...

dell inspiron is not the greatest line of laptop for dell ( unless u can scope up $$ for xps or alienware ) but that's me being bias...

depends u wanna add another ~rm190 for extra 2 years warranty or u wanna bet for your luck for nothing wrong on 2nd and 3rd year... else 1 screen will cost u maybe rm800, 1 mobo cost u another rm800... 2 main thing which is the most common problem. both amount is just a rough figure, dont assume its accurate, but do expect its about that expensive

I'm really happy with HP technical support... just now I had some problem with my HP coolsense ( couldn't open the programme ) so I via internet chatting ( using HP Support Assistant ) and HP technical support staff actually guide me through everything and fix my problem!

it was so professional... case id no is automatically given... and the internet chatting is available 24/7 while the phone call is mon-friday... =D and they actually entertain my problem quickly...

only abit sad that's such technical support is only available for those under warranty as 2010 onwards they dont offer such service to those who are no longer under warranty... I feel they should at least entertain HP consumers who are loyal... =D overall... I'm really glad with HP technical support... ( they helped me fix my problem )
