fyi,i slotted 4GB 1600Mhz+4GB 1333Mhz..so wat i heard is it will consider 1333Mhz as max speed..1600Mhz will auto downgrade to 1333Mhz.is it correct r?

yup.. thats why i asked you to remove 1333mhz ram and only use 1600mhz one.

nother thing is after updated my 7690M xt to 12.3 driver,when used fix swithing and AMD enabled,base on the GPU reading,my GPU core and memory is always at 725 and 800.gpu core voltage oso maintain at 1.050V. it wont go down to 0.9V, 100Mhz for GPU core and 150 for GPU memory respectively as im not using any applications in background..it makes this lappy hot all the time.how to fix this?

uhh.. what u mean? the ram support 1600mhz but dv6 only support till 1333mhz.

Downgrade to 12.2 or 12.1.

Guys, any stability issues with 12.3 official catalyst driver? Currently I'm on v8.93. I noticed all the old links in first page were deleted..

12.3 suffered from sticky clock. Happened to alot of user.
Can you help upload it to mediafire? I can't find latest link for HP Wireless Assistant. I think the software is obselete.

I'm using Leshcat 12.2 UnifL UP5. You mean you can't adjust the brightness?

^btw,if using the lescat driver,do i need to uninstall HP driver 1st,or just can direct install ontop of the hp driver?
