i wish i can play around with all the custom rom, sadly G version non can attract me

Wow one day i didnt enter here and jump one version xD luckily the free apps/games are still available, these games are damn nice, its good of samsung to share them. Also i found Tower defence:lost Earth by com2us, its available in samsung apps and itunes appstore but not in android market yet, added recently only! i'm impressed!



isnt the xloud the one that damaged gadgetcheck's speakers and screwed up many others? guess we have to wait for guinea pigs to try it out

u're right but i dont see there is any problem with other ppl taking over to continue to develop the ROM no? As long as they are continuing develop and renew the ROM..

It even damages sony's own devices from people's experience which is why I am not looking forward to it.

I'm on checkrom 4, wanna flash turkbey

Coming from a custom rom to another custom, do I need to flash original samsung firmware first then use odin to flash turkbey or can i just wipe all and flash thru CWM? any other specific things I need to take precautions before flashing?

Yes guess CheckROM is loosing to Turkbey already... I think everyone want a change... Turkbey gives you a total whole new looks of the phone.

yes can, just enter cwm, wipe/factory reset, then flash. when restoring apps with titanium, dun restore system data

its just the theme~ best look at features as everyone is now mostly using jkay mod, the themes are getting universal.

Yup its just a theme. To me all samsung rom is the same checkrom, turkbey, 4 season etc... all the same only diff is the theme and some very minor tweaks/app maybe. So just install the rom with the theme you like as simple as that.

I like turkbey theme its very complete and unlike any other rom or themes for our device. He really spend alot of time on theming and creating those png files.

@antt00 cuz u use turbkey so everyone follow lorh! im fine with checkrim right now, since everyone say turbkey is the same as checkrom, only themed better, then im fine with checkrom, im happy with my checkrom + ics theme

Thanks destEX for your prompt reply. Ok I got ya, when restoring apps with TiBu, choose apps only not the apps+data.

The thing is in checkrom 4, I was flashing the ics 1.5 then 1.6 afterwards but still cannot get 5 icons at the bottom of the home screen even though in the app drawer is 5 icons in a row. Suddenly one day when driving back from work my screen display become flipped (as if u r looking at the phone while facing a mirror upside down), wordings spelled from right to left and bottoms up but the keypress remain at the same spot. I should've capture a screen shot to show u guys but since i was panicking while driving, immediately I did a nandroid restore...

Maybe my lack of linux exposure resulted this and its a good reason for me to flash another rom although checkrom has served me well since

its fine to choose app+data, just choose that for apps only, for system apps (mini paper,digital clock), choose app only

i'm still in the midst of testing 4season for my own curiosity so holding off from flashing to turkbey for a week or two

To those using the 4 seasons ROM. Are the icons similar to the stock Android one or are they totally different?

I am referring to the icons in places like Settings, where can see a list

Should be able to work. Just make a nandroid backup first. Tweaks won't brick your phone so no harm trying.
