zipalign: Most ROMs package the darky zipalign which sadly doesn't work. I've edited the script to properly work.
ram tweaks: Most ROMs use Juwe's RAM tweaks or some other RAM tweak that only tweak the Linux LMK leaving out the Dalvik LMK. This creates a gap between memory released in Dalvik and Linux making memory hard to free. SGSII has more RAM so this isn't apparent. In SGS, having tweaked Dalvik gives a noticeable difference.

SD read ahead: Most ROMs tweak this beyond 1024KB. Most of what we need is only 128 or 256 at max. forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1032317

CPU Tweaks: Some tweaks are mostly good actually, but not all are sane. ThunderBolt! edges it a bit more for it to become a bit faster as well as battery saving.

You can read my sig: Android Optimization Tips to know what were my basis for each tweak that I did. Most people just copy paste expecting good things to happen (and some do get lucky).

Yeah SGS2 on ICS should be better or comparable with galaxy nexus. 

Don't forget to buy the extended batery kit. might be useful when using the new ICS..

agreed.   nexus use the same dual core 1.2ghz as SGS2. dont understand why nexus have only 5mp camera while S2 8mp. another cheap win for S2

Actually,galaxy nexus uses different processor from galaxy s2. Galaxy s2 uses exynos, while the g version uses a slightly older version of the chip found in the galaxy nexus

Should we delete all the old scripts? Well anyway i already deleted all my init.d scripts a few days before anyway. 

So when i flash your tweaks just a few hours ago, i immediately notice a difference.

eh whoops typo! My bad I meant was g version galaxy s2 uses a older version of the ti omap chip. The galaxy nexu uses the newer version. Should have better performance

Best is to start from Stock ROM and then install all the mods/themes yourselves. You can learn stuff on the way and you ensure the stability of the ROM yourself

today my phone auto off for 2 time.. on morning 8am am when i using n checking better battery life..
then 2nd time jz now 5+pm when i using camera.. how come like this? i check cpuspy those frequency normal.. 300 600 1008.. 800mh less and 1200also less..

Yup its just a theme. To me all samsung rom is the same checkrom, turkbey, 4 season etc... all the same only diff is the theme and some very minor tweaks/app maybe. So just install the rom with the theme you like as simple as that.

I like turkbey theme its very complete and unlike any other rom or themes for our device. He really spend alot of time on theming and creating those png files.
