To those using the 4 seasons ROM. Are the icons similar to the stock Android one or are they totally different?

I am referring to the icons in places like Settings, where can see a list

still prefer checkrom, the kitchenPro app is superb. in fact, i dont really like the UI of Turkbey, too cheezy.

To me, turbkey rom's icons look ugly too me, no offense, but i just dislike it after looking at screenshots. Another reason i decided to stick with checkrom
*
I much prefer the stock or nearly stock Android icons look, very functional. Those other ROM's which change the icons so much make the phone look like those RM70 CSL phones with iphone icons...

It is like running a theme over your PC and the only way for you to find out which is what is to read the words underneath each icon.

Oh yeah, and I found out how to make my phone display the time permanently like on the Nokia N9. The clock moves around to prevent burn-in's and a double-tap on the screen brings me to the lockscreen biggrin.gif

How did you do it? Also, wouldnt it drain the battery?
*
Use the NoLED app and make it display the time permanently, and cut down the screen brightness to save power.

Not too sure if the power consumption is much higher. Will need to test and see.

Guise, can you help me...I still cant install pikachus thunderbolt tweak

Is there anything Im doing wrong?

1. Download zip file
2. put zip file in root of internal memory
3. Recovery
4. Mount /data, /system and /sdcard in recovery
5. install zip from sdcard
6. select zip
7. click yes

than i will get the error status 0 liao...
*
Make sure that the sdcard is mounted, because mine was already mounted by default, so if you were to select it, you would unmount it.

Doing the script part now

Added on December 21, 2011, 7:58 pm''Open up Script Manager and launch /sdcard/bolt_scripts/remount[device] (e.g. remounti9000) as Root (The skull icon) and as Boot (The wheel icon)''

How come I don't have this folder after flashing the zip? The zip flashed properly.

@antt00, are you still using ondemandx or have you moved on to consevative? I read that conservative is just a slower ondemand, but ondemandx has some screen off profiles built in?

No la.  Read the app description.  It is not only antivrus.  It's also app permission checking, hide apps, firewall call/sms blocker, wipe data if lost device, locate lost device, wakelock / battery monitor  etc.

As long as u get their number.. u can tell them u know where their mom or gf stays..  brows.gif

Using the mum part would be a better idea, because not everyone has a gf(what if it is a girl? lesbo hmm.gif ), but everyone must have a mum. tongue.gif

Back to the topic. My method of having the clock displaying full time on the screen drains the battery pretty fast. Current is about 85mA because the phone is actually awake...

The best part? 5% drain per hour. Meaning you can get about 20 hours of standby time(and since the screen is on, that means it is also 20 hours of screen on time biggrin.gif ) For those who charge everyday and like the convenience if it, then it is worth the drain.

Those who enjoy racing games should check out Real Racing 2.

I have played basically all the racing games and this wins in just about every aspect. The graphics are phenomenal and the controls are great.

The best part? it is free!!!

https://market.android.com/details?id=com.e...realracing2_row

It is a locked down version, you need to buy the unlocker to play more of the game.

I think I have enough racing games already, is it smooth on ondemand governor? One thing I hate abt asphalt is the lag even though on performance

Definitely much smoother than Asphalt. It is running perfectly smooth on mine with conservative+sio .

How do we change the LMK value to 80MB? I noticed that after using Thunderbolt, I have tons of free RAM, sometimes even 600MB+ smile.gif

Hi everyone, I have screen problems here,

1) When i put my SII flat horizontally (eg on table), it more difficult to swype to another page or open the screen.

2) When i am charging my phone, i cant use my phone. The screen become not sensitive. I cant sms, play game, swype to another page, etc. But it become normal if i unplug my phone.

Anyone with problem?
*
The issue when charging, are you using your original charger? Because some 3rd party chargers can cause the touchy-screen to become unresponsive.

Yeah. My phone is from Celcom plan. I think everything should be orginal.
*
Just to clarify, your charger is the one with 3 pins and the charger is attached to the pins itself, and the output is 700mA?

it should look like this one

Problems like this only occur with chargers with higher currents, because it affects the capacitive screen's ability to track a finger.

Try doing a reset under Settings>Privacy if the issue persists after a reboot. If still cannot, bring the phone, charger and receipt to the Sansung Service Centre. They will replace either the phone or the charger as it is still within 1 week, or even if it is older, they should still replace the parts within warranty as it is a manufacturing defect.

Real Racing 2 is the best racing game I have played on a Android to date. It is so much better than all the other racing games. I would put it on the same level as the PSP gameplay. Sadly, no multiplayer...

Another fun game is Trial Xtreme (free on Samsung Apps). Highly recommended. And the sequel, Trial Xtreme 2 is even better, and also easier to beat. Finished the 2nd one but still struggling with the 1st one. smile.gif

Just checking with you people, can any of you get internet when connected to the Tropicana Free Wifi? I seem to have problems getting online, connecting and searching is fine, but going online is a problem.

I have no issues at all connecting to both the routers in my house. Thinking of changing to the KL1 modem because it is new and stable. A lot of people have reported corrupted EFS after trying the experimental KP1. Currently using KI4 modem (stock with CheckROM 4). Any suggestions or recommendations?
