I need advice here. I think my battery life got some problem.
I've been using my phone for 4months now. Previously, with the same usage behavior, i have ~9hours of battery life. But now..its getting lower and lower. take screen shoot, saw the graph also got something wrong. Can some one give their POV. Is my battery really has problem.

Yeah, too bad Intel hired me as a Microprocessor Design Engineer already tongue.gif
Is it much smoother with ThunderBolt! ? tongue.gif
It should work without problems. Be sure to have a nandroid backup handy before flashing, just in case smile.gif
Nope. Just install the main CWM and all the addons in one go, then reboot.

Hmm... seems likes some galaxy nexus users also has the same android os battery drain as some of us here. Could it be the same bug? Has Samsung STILL yet to fix it?

The first night of using this thunderbolt script, the standby battery drain wasn't much! Only about 3% battery drain overnight! I haven't got that type of results in a while already smile.gif so to me,thunderbolt scripts work really well

Thanks destEX for your prompt reply. Ok I got ya, when restoring apps with TiBu, choose apps only not the apps+data.  notworthy.gif

its fine to choose app+data, just choose that for apps only, for system apps (mini paper, digital clock), choose app only

oh really? that`s really nice2.  rclxms.gif then i should stop  drool.gif  on galaxy nexus. wait for ics. yeay s2 FTW!  nod.gif
*
But there's a chance that Samsung would skin ICS for galaxy s2 and make it exactly like our current TW,and we don't get the awesomeness of ICS anymore from official rom. This is based on the fact that the leaked alpha build of ICS for s2 is skinned to TW till it doesn't even look like ICS,looks like our current TW. But its still alpha, so hopefully Samsung will stick with vanilla ICS

Yeah SGS2 on ICS should be better or comparable with galaxy nexus.  biggrin.gif
*
That's if ICS is properly optimized for exynos and Mali. If its not... nexus probably be better

agreed. nod.gif  nexus use the same dual core 1.2ghz as SGS2. dont understand why nexus have only 5mp camera while S2 8mp. another cheap win for S2  tongue.gif

which mean ics is a battery drain monster? hurmm  hmm.gif

Actually, galaxy nexus uses different processor from galaxy s2. Galaxy s2 uses exynos, while the g version uses a slightly older version of the chip found in the galaxy nexus

To me, turbkey rom's icons look ugly too me, no offense, but i just dislike it after looking at screenshots. Another reason i decided to stick with checkrom

Oh yeah, and I found out how to make my phone display the time permanently like on the Nokia N9. The clock moves around to prevent burn-in's and a double-tap on the screen brings me to the lockscreen  biggrin.gif
*
How did you do it? Also, wouldnt it drain the battery?

Use the NoLED app and make it display the time permanently, and cut down the screen brightness to save power.

Not too sure if the power consumption is much higher. Will need to test and see.

Power consumption will be my main worry

The amount of function in this app is very interesting and useful. Seem like a very complete security app. Basically it combines function of a few apps I am already using now. And its free.

The leaked ICS build for galaxy s2 is quite unstable, suggest u downgrade back to GB since the leaked build not ready for daily usage yet(its still alpha)
