yup, coz if we compare between samsung with other smartphone manufacturer like htc or apple, samsung does provide the value for money product. SGS2 comes with 1 Gb RAM but sensations only 768 Mb RAM.

so why we pay the same amount of money for less? i'm comparing this 2 model because both were released nearly at the same time. they are the new generation of smartphones with dual core processor.

agreed. i don't want to condemn other product but as we can see, the latest htc sensation xl only overclock the processor to 1.5Ghz+ other tweak but the RAM is still the same at 768Mb.

for me, 768Mb is not enough to perform heavy multitasking.

FYI i had tried my colleague's newly bought Sensation XE. 15ghz dual core and 768 mb ram, scrolling lag, delay in launching apps, yellowish flashlight (i had done a head to head comparison on the flashlight, SGSII is so bright and white in color while XE is yellowish. sigh). the only good thing in XE is the beats audio headset (well i dun even wanna compare it wif our crappy stock headset. mother of god samsung ) and also sense 3.0. but somehow the sense is the reason causing the phone to lag

not in the list doesnt necessarily equals to ruled out from getting updates. even HTC incredible S (single core) also can update to ICS so i dun c any reason SGS+ cannot update. SGA wise.... a little bit sad but the specs might not up to the standard. i think the device itself will suffer also after update.

on the discussion before, our sgs2 also have 16gb internal memory, which is a luxury many other android phones don't have... i always giggle when i saw people complaining on the comments of some apps that it doesn't have install to sdcard support because they don't have enough internal memory

the price is the problem. the only acceptable reason to me for not getting update is only because of the specs unable to support the update. other than that, its the manufacturer too lazy to provide update already.
