is the galaxy sII battery better than galaxy note?

It is up to your usage. Dont expect longer battery life when you play angry birds for hours. tongue.gif

BTW, TurkbeyRom is V29.5. Downloading now. thumbup.gif

totally agree with botakin. looking at my N97. update? belle? the heck any update for N97. stuck at the S60v5, forever ever alone. wan get full support? go get nexus phone. ah wait, only nexus S and galNex can upgrade to ICS. go get ipo®n. ah wait, only from 3GS above can upgrade to IOS5. u cannot expect forever support from the manufacturer, dont u? (well i noe no upgrade to ICS for SGS and SGS+ is really rude.)
*
TRUE. Usually manufacturer only care to update your within one year@ two. after that, they consider you buy new phone, throw away your old one. Same situation to laptop, tablet, and pc component

If you use DIGI unlimited plan, you can always use google maps.
If offline maps, I use sygic. Another GPS software is papago and ndrive.

Stuck between S2, Nexus and Note. All have their pros and cons. Any news about SIII's release date?

Waiting is endless. Get what you need. IMO, if i want to buy phone right now, I will choose Note. tongue.gif mixing both tablet/smartphone.

Since I already root my phone, can you guys recommend me some apps to play with? brows.gif

Already installed Voltage Control and using Avast Firewall smile.gif
*
Many apps that need root is utilities apps like Titanium back up, root explorer, ROM manager, ROM toolbox, etc.
Game and daily use apps usually don't need root.
Since you already root and have CWM installed, how about you flash other kernel? Siyah 2.6.2 maybe. brows.gif

hi everyone. i plan to update my samsung s2 non-g version. if i update straight from the phone, will it delete my files and settings? coz if through kies there will be a backup. so, if i update through phone, will it delete all my things?
*
Your data is not deleted since that ROM is non wipe version.
Even wipe version also not delete your files, just your installed apps.

It is non official. What to do? Even Cyanogen team already warn about this. " If you have problem, It on your own, this is experimental Build @UNSTABLE". ICS ROM still not for daily use yet. wink.gif

BTW, guys, Kingsoft office,Quick office pro and office suite pro, which one has more functionality? icon_question.gif

i'm so confused. it looks just like gingerbread.
what does ICS has that gingerbread dont?

face unlock? useless feature.

task manager that can swype to close apps?
did you see how trouble some it is? the defauly task manager right now can close apps by just tapping the "exit" button. IMO, tapping is faster than swyping. and there's even a "exit all" button.

lol...whats the point of upgrading then?
everything else looks the same.

i'm very satisfied and impressed with gingerbread now (already fast and lag free on its dual core)
at the same time dissapointed with ICS, seems not much difference.

but its still not the final version, so there might be still hope.:-)
*
Everybody feel ICS is awesome because they love UI like google nexus.

Can't expect TouchWiz to look like Vanilla Android in Galaxy Nexus mah

Perhaps less bugs, better software/hardware optimization, better battery life, etc

Maybe in Touch Wiz 5.0, we will see something like nexus. Who knows? tongue.gif
