well... extra RM 600-800 for the HD screen. a bit redundant to me though the $199 tied with verizon contract is surely attractive. the problem is its CDMA phone. orelse i edi jumped onto GalNex ship already icon_idea.gif

it is a themed custom rom. what he meant is besides those AOSP roms, all the custom roms are just stock roms repackaged with loads of themes (thanks to jkay) and also the root function and mayb some additional apps (some call them bloatware as well). in the end the decision factor is which theme attracts u the most.

for google maps, the update will be pushed itself and you wont be able to find the application in market

not sure bout hk version can update to which firmware, but overall not much improvement. all r just speculating as samsung nvr release an official statement on the changes log.
