I don't know if EPL is worse than Spanish Primera Liga but certainly Spanish top clubs are way better than English top clubs.
Let me put it this way.... If Real Madrid & Barcelona competes in the EPL or a combined league (Spanish+EPL), no english clubs will ever win the league. |

 table is final uefa champions league. i dunno how to say, Look back for the past 10 years 4 EPL teams enter the final while La Liga 3 Team Serie A 3 Team Germany 2 Team Portugal 1 France 1 this is the FINAL only. didn't care bout the winner thou  just my 2 cents  |

To me this thread is just a rant from disappointing fan which his team didnt play in UCL.
EPL and UCL giving a different format. EPL's team still competing in UCL and I dont think league quality have relation to the team performance in UCL. I don't know why some people tend be defensive about this issue. Take a look at soccernet forum, this issue is very sensitive for them. The war of words between them could take several days just because of this.
For me i don't really care which one is better. I'm not an Englishman, Italian, German, French or Spanish. I just want to be entertained, just like what Maradona said. |

The "best" players in the world always would want to play for either Barcelona or RM i.e. the "best club". We don't hear Maradona, Ronaldo, Zidane, Kaka, Messi say "Oooh it's been always my dream to play for Man Utd". Even top EPL clubs are at best, stepping stones. Exhibit; Fabregas & C.Ronaldo. Sorry EPL fans.

Aint sure about Alonso but if i'm not mistaken it was Rafa that bought him to liverpool. Lots of other players dream to play for Barca/ Madrid. the question is whether they can fit in or not? Ex, Ibrahimovic(world class?), Hleb(former Arsenal star) and many more. |
