at my place danga mall got 4x shop that bring asus include 1 authorized gold partner. 3 shop sold total of 32 unit which is ALL in the 1st batch. the authorized got 2x left which one of em i just bought. the promo ram is left for that last 2 unit too

Wasn't serious with the refund at that time. But since my deadline for uni is near, and I need a laptop fast. I might just ask for refund if i dont get it by next week. I'm just too pissed at waiting now.

I pmed him. If i dont, i wouldnt even know whether this week stock will arrive or not.

I will see how it goes by next week. The reason why I'm still hesitating is because i'm currently the next to receive the laptop. That is the only goddamn reason I'm still stupidly waiting for it. But c'mon, give me a fukking date when my laptop is gonna arrive!

the g55v comes with 4gb , and there's 2 more additional slot that easily get too by opening the back panel

n yea 4gb + 4gb + 4gb is 12gb



at that shop the Corsair Vengeance 1600 4GBx2 cost rm185. i need only addition rm50 for it n i think rm185 is like expensive ?

is possible to ask Asus for install the mSata for me if I purchase the model without come with the mSata one? or did Malaysia have the mSata G55VW model already?

really disappointed with asus
today i discovered my screen got 2 patches of dead pixel
although it is not very obvious, but i'm sure after i service my laptop because of black screen only these pixels appear

guys my numlock and right button is kinda wierd.. right button is shortcut to windows media center n some numlock keys not behaving like it intended to.. my my , already got problem?

Where did you get the vengeance 1600!!!

Added on May 25, 2012, 8:32 pmI just got back from BJC in Penang. Swisspac there says that they can get the Asus G55 but must preorder. Leadtime is 3 days. & the Onboard RAM is 4GB 1333MHz.
I still haven't received any feedback from Asus about the actual RAM though some ppl are saying that it is supposed to be 1600MHz.
Anyone here got any idea?

Also, anyone ran CPU-Z to check their RAM? There's another guy here that did & is saying that his RAM is 1600MHz but CPU-Z is showing it as 800MHz. See link.

im at the shop. apperently the boss is also dumbfounded. trying to restore the whole system. lets hope its software if not, its my personal new record on faulty new computer. 4 hours only ownership!

Re-install ATK software.

It is suppose to be 1600Mhz however different batches may change the hardware if the supply in manufacturing process is insufficient. Its still DDR3, doesn't affect much on ur application usage.

about the ram one of the saleguys said 1333 the other sez 1600. u know what i was about to know the truth by dling cpuz n then i realized the right arrow fault.
