so , what the backpack/bag for g55v , my free cap ayam asus bagpack barely fit the g55v but surprisingly that backpack is super comfy to wear , if only it was a tad bigger!

the cap ayam bag is the black bag with the small blue asus logo at bottom left..it is comfortable, but the material is not durable, like almost going to tear anytime if you put the adapter all in the bag..none of us like the bag and upgrading to a better bag..like everki etc etc..how about you bro, if you dont put your adapter and other stuff like books ( you putting the g55 only in the sleeve, than the bag is ok bro, but i suggest you get a better bag bro, just for the safely of your beast..

edit: selangor oso no stock..but penang most probably got very little(maybe 2 or 3)

My keyboard backlight just turned off, any idea how to manually turn it on?

A restart got it back on

Also should I remove the battery when it's plugged in?

^ cant comment on the keyboard, other G55 users will help you out. As for the battery, that depends on you. Usually when i'm doing work (laptop on 24/7) or when im gaming i'll just leave the battery out.

I'm now inclined to get this backpack instead can fit in a g73 and a m17x (freaking behemoth of laptops). Some say it's a bit tight, while some say it fits in perfectly. But G55 is slightly smaller than these two monsters so I guess it'll be just fine. Everki beacon as a 2nd choice now.

Astro scout has a durable and weather proofing materials. Although it doesn't have the raincoat sleeve like the Everki Beacon. But it's not like I'm running around in the rain anyway

use the fn + hotkeys (f3 or f4) to increase keyboard backlight brightness..to save battery, turn off the keyboard backlight completely, remove the battery when plugged in

edit, but how can your keyboard backlight turn off suddenly?
