Khai Liang, Hows your G55 that you got from Gadgetzone? I may drop by their shop this weekend to see if the last unit is available if I am free. If not, have to wait for the next batch. Still no idea when the next batch of the Asus G55VW-S1095V is coming in. grrr. It would really come in handy for my 10 layer board design.

A decent bag would probably cost about RM200~300 & you'd get to choose one that you like.
Not sure what the free bag looks like but I heard it isn't too nice if it's the Asus one. If the ROG one its better but still, if they've give me more RAM instead of the bag, I'd go for the RAM.
I think the RAM is about RM90~120 for 4GB 1600MHz?

very good, i like the rubber design of the laptop cover
and the instant-on from sleep, is reli god speed, its reli very fast.
i have tried sammy's 7 series which boast a very high speed instant on with its hybrid drive, it is still no par with my beast.

Good deal, most of us here get about free upgrade to 8gb ram only. And its only 1333mhz. Where did you manage to find this deal though? and I'm searching for 4gb RAM 1600mhz now

err wanna ask that is this model have mSata SSD + HDD? eventhrough is only 1 HDD bay they still have the slot for another mSata SSD?

Anyone went to PC Expo in Midvalley? Heard a bunch of non 3D G55 and a number of Ivy Bridge laptops is up for grabs. Just a rumor though, don't blame me is you drove all the way but there wasn't any.

Yes they do. mSata SSD is hidden deep inside the G55 which will result in your warranty being voided if you try to upgrade it.
