Yes, but those are the elite users.  They have the money.  But for ordinary folk, Maxis is just too uncompetitive versus the competition.

Why is Maxis offering sweeter deals for certain customers only when they threaten to leave?  Why can't they offer these packages up front at their website instead of making customers haggle with them as if Maxis were some dodgy pretty trader?  That's what I don't like about Maxis: too opaque.

To their credit, their CS is the best among the big 4 (my perception) and their network here in Penang is generally solid.  Still I left tongue.gif

If maxis does that, open for mass market, perhaps hard to enjoy the highest margin in Malaysia telco

Today changed plan from SP75 to postpaid 98 . Difference i think is the 2GB rollover data and rm 3 more expensive.

Strange DiGi coverage in Gurney Plaza, Penang. Everywhere up to HSPA only, except in the GSC cinema halls...where there's 4G rclxub.gif

This is opposite from my experience with Maxis: 4G generally OK in Gurney Plaza, except in the cinema halls and basement level.

Reloaded my UMobile Prepaid on 2nd Mar noon so that it's active. Submitted MNP to Digi at 5pm. Next day at 1pm, got SMS from UMobile saying MNP failed due to line not active. Called UMobile to clarify, said it's their system error and will escalate to whatever team. 3 working days. *sigh*

U Mobile is not very fast when it comes to customer port-out. Mine had no issues but took about 2-3 days as well.
