So, did you complained to DiGi? What they said?

I am thinking of bringing my 'no coverage' issue after the 'tomorrow network' maintenance to MCMC as well and will let you guys know what the outcome is. I bet there must be some of you who are experiencing the exact issue as myself and Dannyl.

Called. They said only 3 out of 9 towers in KL Sentral are successfully upgraded, I still have to bear till end of the month...

hi.

Im using DG50,  and i've been charged 196 for using roughly 19mb of data on my phone.

it was billed as  PAY AS YOU USE. Is this the proper billing amount? because i was under the impression that data on phone is limited to a certain amount per day.

Anyway to reduce this amount?
*
Yes, it is correct for PAYU basis.
RM 0.10 for 10kb, so 19.6MB is roughly 1960kb and it comes up to RM 196... I think the limit is RM 250.
No way to reduce anyway...

Anyone have any idea why can't I connect to any network in Singapore? For some reason I can't connect art all. Before passing immigration the only changed I did was turn off mobile data as not to use it. Never got any welcome messages to Singapore what so ever. Tried restarting phone few times, but useless. I'm on digi i plan btw
*
You have to apply for international roaming. I think you have to pay for deposit first. hmm.gif Unlike other telcos which automatically switch for you, I know I had the same encounter too. laugh.gif

Next month, going to Bangkok, must make sure to get international roaming.

Only for the iplan is it? Previously on prepaid I had no such problem
*
I'm not using iPlan. I'm using Ambassador Plan which uses postpaid. I'm not sure about prepaid, postpaid definitely need to request.

smile.gif Call the CS, that's the fastest way. As far as I remember, there is no SMS. Just to be safe, call 016-2211800 (free from any DiGi number).

QUOTE(crusher @ May 27 2012, 06:40 PM)
Hi all,

Currently I on DiGi Ambassador plan with 3GB. While I got this seem to be better offer by Maxis.

Differences between these two: -
1) DiGi Ambassador
Free call to DiGi numbers up to RM50 every month.
0.12 cent flat rate to all network
0.10 cent SMS to all network
3GB every month at only RM34
Monthly bill, usually I will use up to RM90+ including the calls at least.

2) Maxis
RM50 commitment fee
0.10 cent flat rate to all network
0.05 cent SMS to Maxis / 0.15 cent SMS to others
Unlimited data usage without quota at only RM68
Monthly commitment RM118.

Not really interested in the data plan, as I just use it to browse social medias, and some website such as LYN forum not even youtube. I am thinking whether to change to Maxis or not because of the poor connection of calls. I always face drop calls, as my job need to make alot of calls to client.

Please advise. smile.gif
*
My dilemma also. sad.gif I'm also using DiGi Ambassador and DiGi's network issue is really bad in my office. I really complain till I get fed up already. cry.gif

I think I'll go for U Mobile soon.

Yeah, but to think that they still need another 2 years at least to get the "Tomorrow Network" project done. Can you tahan for another 2 years for these kind of line?  sweat.gif
*
Already around 5 months. I'm really tired already... sad.gif
But I'll get a new Celcom corporate line soon in a couple of weeks, I might retire my DiGi line in office. Only use it when I'm at home. doh.gif

Anyway, Celcom line better than Maxis? But I heard Celcom got alot billing problem right? So you decide to keep your DiGi line and use another number for Celcom? Maybe I should just cancel off my data plan by DiGi and keep the line active. If I did not use the line, will they automatically cut it?
*
I think Maxis is better these days. smile.gif But anyway, my department only uses Celcom, so mine is automatically a Celcom line. Some departments are using Maxis line... No department is using DiGi. laugh.gif
If you don't pay for the line, then they will cut it off. biggrin.gif

Yes can.

Hey. My boyfriend and I are subscribing DG Smart Plan. Can we choose our own numbers to make them similar? Or can either one of us remain our old numbers and the other one choose new numbers to be similar to the old ones?

I read from DG FAQ that certain amount of fees will be charged for choosing numbers. The fees will offset our upcoming bills right?

Thank you in advance for replying to my questions!
*
Why don't both of you retain your current number? smile.gif

Not sure if anyone here is able to answer me this question? All of the browsers I have are to updated to use D'Chat, duh.

I made a failed transaction to pre-order the Samsung Galaxy S3. After I changed my card setting, I would like to try again however the number I wanted just now is no longer available. I don't think it's taken by others but it's being put on hold in the system. May I know how long does it take usually for the number to be released again? Thanks!
*
Well, you can call CS at 016-2211800 (free if using DiGi lines, else local charge applies).
