If the custom is holding your parcel and there's tax, you'll receive a notice to say how much the tax is and everything. If not, then shouldn't be anything and you can just go collect it. Call them up and ask them where is it, if they don't know then try calling the custom office up and see whether your parcel is there or not.
What are you sending? If normal documents like that, I use normal Pos Malaysia Airmail. Got International registered mail also. Cost less than RM10 depending where you sending it to and takes around 3 weeks or so.

Poslaju international only handles parcel items I believe. For parcel items, they'll use ship to ship and will take at least 1 month and can go up to 3-4 months to reach destination. Cost depending on how heavy your parcel is, no food allowed to be shipped.

No documents are needed, only the recipient address and details and yours.

I've used Poslaju to send parcel post to NZ and Aus before. Takes around minimum 1 month to maximum 3-4 months for sea shipping.
I don't know the rates exactly but you can easily get it from Poslaju website.
http://www.pos.com.my/pos/services/fast_ma...tional/ems.aspx

Parcel post that is under Poslaju has a tracking number. Honestly, you can only track it until it send out of Malaysia, after that you can't really trace it already.

If you don't mind the cost, then go for international brands like Fedex or DHL where you can easily track.

chance will be get taxed are high.... custom normally will held item with value more than Rm500... even it's was free.

it's depend on how the sender declare item on custom form when sent the item out.

Hi, guys, if I'm sending my T-Shirt packaged in an envelope, should I use post laju or pos ekspress? And will my envelope be still in good shape or will it be crumpled or crushed?

Poslaju.

Pos Ekspress can only be used if you don't exceed the weight and thickness as stated on the envelop. If not it will be returned to sender and your money spend on it is wasted.

You mean delivered via Poslaju?

When you post out your item, they'll most likely ask you to put it into their Poslaju plastic flyer. Or you can always ask from them. The flyer will protect it from getting wet and getting tampered with.

As for your condition of the items, clothings will be the least of my worries. Tons of clothes are sent via Poslaju everyday. I would worry more if it was an electronic item or a bottled perfume but clothes will definitely be fine. Some sellers just put the clothing into a plastic bag andden put the whole plastic bag into the Poslaju flyer.

If that's the case, then the best way is to put it in a box with protection. Take note of the box size, if its too big, they may use volumetric weight and it'll be very much more expensive. Poslaju also sell boxes that you can purchase to put your envelop in.

im pissed off with pos laju -.- . i opted for next day delivery now it became 4days delivery! worst experience ever!

1st day, delivered to wrong station, and that station not incharge of my area. i live at petaling jaya, the station is petaling jaya station but not incharge of my area. wtf? so they post to shah alam, which is incharge of my area. so i try to understand and respect their system.

2nd day missed my area coz lousy reason, traffic jam, rainy season. it ok, i try to understand them and be nice

3rd day, miss again! wtf man same lousy rainy day jam reason! they missed my area yesterday shouldnt they put my area at top priority the next day since they missed it a day before? or else they want wait til rainy season over only people from my area will receive their parcel is it?

brainless seriously.
