hi..i have pos the parcel on monday...so, the parcel are expected to arrive on wednesday ( tuesday pos office off due to deepavali)..but, the parcel are not arrive..when track the numnber on pos malaysia website, they say this :-

"Consignment will be handover to Delivery Office for delivery
Counter delivery due to out of delivery coverage area".

can someone explain to me what are the meaning of this??this is 1st time i have face this problem.tq..

i'm are the one who pos the parcel..dun know whether the receiver live in kampung or not..haha

using poslaju will takes 1 months for a parcel shipment? the transit time stated 3-4days mean??
is tax applied if post phone to UK? it tax applied, usually the sender will pay it or the recipient?

Poslaju handles parcel post as well. The 1-3 months thing is parcel post. I'm not sure if Poslaju ship internationally and how long it'll take. It's best to check with Poslaju directly. There's also sending by air or sea, obviously by air will be faster and more expensive.

Usually if time is a concern, I'll use more establish courier companies like FedEx or DHL to post internationally. I'm not sure about UK postal service but if ppl from overseas send things here and they get taxed, the recipient will have to pay before the custom release it. Again, I do not know if UK custom tax phones delivered into UK.

They do ship internationally though the time for the items being sent might vary from countries. I've tried sending a small package back to NZ once, and if my memory serves me right, it took like one week+. Well, that is, if my memory serves me right.

Anyway, they do ship internationally. Lol.

Ah okay. Under Poslaju as well? My mistake for misleading the previous guy then. Cause I know Poslaju handles parcel post that delivers locally and internationally so didn't know if they do Poslaju courier to overseas as well.

I try to check the postage fees to UK by using DHL or Fedex but both are expensive too.
The postlaju charge 100+ will be the cheapest but not sure the safety and delivery time.

There is no flyer provided for small branch of poslaju?

yesterday i go to poslaju small branch only ask for plastic bag then that girl tell me that sorry our branch didnt have any plastic bag you need to go to the main office of poslaju.. aikz.. make me regret for not package the item first..

but today i go to main poslaju office they do provide free flyer for me to simpan my items and the officer there is friendly too..

Hope never too late to share my experience.

Return back my shirt to USA due to size seems too big. Then, pack and send it back to Poslaju at Jln Bricksfield. And get delivered in 6 days (even LESS than 5 working days!). Can be track either at Poslaju or USPS website.

Pro:
1. Much CHEAPER than the other premium service.

Cons:
1. Can't be TRACKING in between once USPS handle until the package DELIVERED.

i encounter this be4, not only once but a lot of times , dun worry they will deliver again tmr , usually is becuz they had too many parcel to delivery with little time , when their times up they have to go back 1st , so will resume deliver the next day , funny right ?
