is galaxy note using micro sim? plan to upgrade from iphone 4 and wondering if its a microsim so i can direct transfer

It using normal simcard and if not mistaken only iPhone using microsim card.

Just wanted to share my thought on the SGN charger hissing sound. This issue does not only affect SGN, but I have a cheap Samsung GT-E1081T which also has the same sound. The video link is taken using my SGN.

So, I think it really isn't a big issue.

Hi Benny. Downloaded Sygic yesterday and on first launch got error. But after that, no issue so I didn't bother to troubleshoot. Anyway, wanted to know base on your experience with Sygic, is the map constantly updated by Sygic. If yes, is that free. Or is there an online community that update and share their map contribution online such as malsingmaps.com

Anyway, Sygic does make full use of SGN screen resolution.

I never has any issues connecting with public WiFi - most of the common cafes I have no problem logging in their free WiFi - eg Starbucks, Cofeebean, Old Town, etc. Infact till now my wifi detection and lockup is 100 % , it never fail me

I think just uninstall (if installed) and try download again. Are using using stock Gingerbread.

Maps are not so constantly updated ; what I did is every 2-3 ,months I just redownload the maps. Maps are proprietary by Sygic and there is no common file sharing
I would say even in small towns ( major roads ) no problems navigating except for newer roads in the past few months
I have been using Sygic Aura first in my Dell Streak ( I paid Euro 30 for it than !!). Later in June I bought it for Euro 9.99 for my SGS II ( special offer ) and now I have transfer the SGS II licence over to the Note. It now costs Euro 19.99. In the past 9 months using it, about 2-3 times a week travelling up to various parts of KL, PJ, Subang Jaya and Singapore, it has not failed me

Anyone ever used both SGP and Nillkin slim faceplate before? Any difference in terms of build quality, fit and slimness.

Download the latest Sygic from Market. You will have a free trial 7 days. On or before the trial period end, you can purchased it - you will be given a product code and subsequently a activation code which needs your IMEI info
If you have been using any other version other than official, sorry cannot help you
