You signed in with a Malaysian ID? Restart the phone by holding on the power to turn it off and try again.

one of my friend bashed me today for using windows phone....
all he knows about is windows mobile... he says what im using now is windows mobile "aiya i hate windows mobile one... soo sucks" and he said htc phones are all android... what the fish? i told him straight to the face know about phones then only open your mouth.... but to me one major drawbacks for windows phone is that the bluetooth doesnt support file transfer, one of my friend wants to get the lumia 800 but he is hesitating because it has no bluetooth... then another friend asked me whether windows phone has alot of apps or not... i just told him that the main ones are here already and its the trend that is ruining people from trying windows phone... he seems to like my mozart then his galaxy ace edit : and this forum has been changed to windows phone and not windows mobile anymore... good This post has been edited by JasonWilton: Feb 11 2012, 04:27 PM |

I just don't care what they said. Coming from ex-Android user (which turns up to be laggy and always require task killer, since the OS does not have smart memory management), I prefer WP7 now since it is so smooth and never lags + never crashall he knows about is windows mobile... he says what im using now is windows mobile "aiya i hate windows mobile one... soo sucks" and he said htc phones are all android... what the fish? i told him straight to the face know about phones then only open your mouth.... but to me one major drawbacks for windows phone is that the bluetooth doesnt support file transfer, one of my friend wants to get the lumia 800 but he is hesitating because it has no bluetooth... then another friend asked me whether windows phone has alot of apps or not... i just told him that the main ones are here already and its the trend that is ruining people from trying windows phone... he seems to like my mozart then his galaxy ace edit : and this forum has been changed to windows phone and not windows mobile anymore... good |

However, still cannot access Marketplace even after Factory Reset. All the Region & Language settings have been set to English (Malaysia). My phone is Nokia Lumia 800 but it is Singapore stock. I wonder if that affects the marketplace selection? |

Yeah, after factory reset and you login with a Malaysian id, restart the phone. Does your Games hub show Xbox live or chess piece icon? |

QUOTE(Andy72 @ Feb 11 2012, 01:53 PM) I can't seem to access the Marketplace. It says its not available in this country/region yet. Anyone else has this problem? Finally fixed it after 2 Factory Resets. This problem is due to buying a Singapore set after all. Right after the Factory Reset, the Region/Language is defaulted to the country from where the phone originated. In my case, it is Singapore. When you reach the step where the phone asks you to sign in using a Windows Live ID, DO NOT sign in. Skip this step and go to Region/Language to set your country to Malaysia first. After that, manually add in a Live account. This solved the problem. |

hello frens..
I noticed that starting last 2 days (February 10,2012) i have been having trouble updating my Twitter feed via the Me Tile. Facebook is fine though. So i thought of deleting and re-adding my twitter account as a solution. However, when i tried deleting my Twitter account, i get the error message 80048861.and it said i got problem to delete my twitter account and it might be related with my windows live.. What can i do now? not a hard reset, i hope... Thanks |

Really smooth, simple and well integrated with the necessary apps like Facebook, email and Twitter. |
