QUOTE(marauderz @ Feb 11 2012, 02:58 PM) You signed in with a Malaysian ID? Restart the phone by holding on the power to turn it off and try again. I have Malaysian Live ID. However, still cannot access Marketplace even after Factory Reset. All the Region & Language settings have been set to English (Malaysia). My phone is Nokia Lumia 800 but it is Singapore stock. I wonder if that affects the marketplace selection? |

QUOTE(Andy72 @ Feb 11 2012, 01:53 PM) I can't seem to access the Marketplace. It says its not available in this country/region yet. Anyone else has this problem? Finally fixed it after 2 Factory Resets. This problem is due to buying a Singapore set after all. Right after the Factory Reset, the Region/Language is defaulted to the country from where the phone originated. In my case, it is Singapore. When you reach the step where the phone asks you to sign in using a Windows Live ID, DO NOT sign in. Skip this step and go to Region/Language to set your country to Malaysia first. After that, manually add in a Live account. This solved the problem. |
