Even the new One V is laggier than Lumia 710 even though they use the same screen resolution and same processor... So you decide for yourself. You come to Windows Phone forum surely the members will say that Windows Phone is awesome, including me. smile.gif

Base on my experience, Android is not worth going for low-end phones. Unless you really LOVE Android and you have no money for it. I have a low-end Android phone like Wildfire and then a "loaned" high-end phones like Sensation. Both on Android, Android is getting like "Windows" on PC. You need to format the phone once a while to keep it smooth and fast. Now, no matter how hard I try, my Wildfire is very very slow. And the Sensation is laggy. I had a test drive of Lumia 800 from a friend for a period, I can say I love the buttery smooth UI. As I said, unless you have feelings for Android, otherwise I would say Lumia 710 is a fast and good phone.

Let's hope that WP8 brings great stuff so that it will be competitive in the high-end section.

Which do you guys use for Twitter? I'm torn between Rowi and Carbon. Carbon has a better and more usable design, but Rowi is slightly faster in performance.

Rowi's toast notifications are really the most awesome so far though, but the toast notification can be seen without opening the app really, so the question remains.

I wouldn't mind owning a high end Android. Albeit I can root and use custom roms on it. Manufacturers really have to tinker with the OS and that's what makes the fragmentation a bit of a pain. This is where iOS and WP7 triumphs. You can tinker, but not much and still provides their main agenda, laglessness. But still, it's all down to what language these OSes are done with.

What's up with closing apps in the background? I believe it's the contest rule because app launches much faster if it's in the background.
