Based on what the staff told me, the bank is putting it on hold because the project doesn't have landslide insurance..dunno how long it will be on hold as the snp need to be signed after CnY.sometimes the staff might not provide the full details because of fear of losing their customers.so dun rely on that bank alone

Ok, good if landslide insurance is included by the condo managment in future, just like for fire. But weird that this is the reason becoz other banks would have the same concern.

Well do you think the developer will get the insurance just because one bank pulled out?there are 5 other banks who is still supporting the project

The foresta staff made me laugh when I called to ask regarding the issue.. His reply was "actually ar u dun have to worry so much as this project ah, is built on very solid granite rock" but somehow he is not able to provide any info on whether they will be getting the insurance

It would be good to make this pull out (if it's real) a big fuss so that the developer will really do something to assure the buyers.

Agreed that weather nowadays is unpredictable. This CNY we will have wet wet weather unlike many many past CNY.

Low said RM20 million was spent on developing the infrastructure with slope safety measures which took 12 months. He added that the hillside is made up of granite and that the areas built on are flat terrain.

Hope this will gain the confidence of the Public. But from my understanding, construction insurance is compulsory for all projects, especially the bridging financer OCBC, who granted RM90mil credit line to LnG shd have already imposed this requirement.
WOnder why Maybank made a hu ha on that? or just a rumous?

Is anyone able to circle where exactly DF is together with Empire Residence & Empire Damansara? Believe they are all built around the same Bukit Lanjan diameter.

I'm quite impressed the way below is drawn up by 1 forummer.

Someone has added Damansara Foresta into the wikimapia
http://wikimapia.org/#lat=3.1780742&lon=10...93&z=16&l=0&m=b

Empire Residence is very closed to Rafflesia and behind the Armanee Terrace II, if i am not mistaken.

Yes, it is. Thanks very much. I've a clearer view now.

I'm wondering now whether Rafflesia and Empire Residence will be connected & if yes, the latter is belonged to DP, does that mean in future, we can go to DP directly from DF without going thru LDP .. probably I'm just dreaming wink.gif

Any idea what's the name of the development located next(east) of "Flora's Lagoon"?? It's labeled as "Foster Estate Sdn. Bhd. site".
Always thought that as a cool piece of land next to a lake for property development. Would b interested if they are planning to develop that piece of land smile.gif
